Re: Super Mario Maker - Create, share and play levels with the community.
I was considering this as a present for my niece and nephew. They don't really do the online thing yet as they are quite young. But it looks like just building the levels and playing them would be good fun?

Re: All things Metal Gear (Solid)
Still really enjoying my time with MGS V, though I've heard things about base invasions later in the game, so I'm a bit paranoid about building up lots of stuff only to have it pillaged! Does anyone know if there is a way to opt out of that online part?

Re: All things Metal Gear (Solid)
I'm only five hours in (2% :o ), but I'm very much enjoying it. I've played the very careful stealth approach so far, but the world definitely feels like it has the potential to be a real playground later on when I want to goof about and try out some action. BTW, as part of my purchase on Steam I go...

Mind you this just happened and nothing in gaming ever feels as good as this:

Re: All things Metal Gear (Solid)
Well, I'm definitely in Metal Gear mode now! Although GZ is small, the quality of the mechanics gives it real variety. I've S Ranked all but the last mission now, and I think I might collect the Fox patches as I believe that unlocks a mission where you play as Solid Snake from MGS1?!

Re: All things Metal Gear (Solid)
This release definitely seems to be creeping up fast! Can't wait to get stuck in. I'm obviously a bit nervous about the PC version with the recent trend of bad ports, but GZ runs really well so fingers crossed! I went back and played some GZ last night to practice and see if there was any info about...

Cool, I'll definitely take look.
I ended up playing Stardust Delta on easy a few times, just to get through some planets and practice. Now just need to pluck up the courage to increase it again

Re: PlayStation Vita
I've been trying out some Super Stardust Delta on my Vita. Now that I've tuned into the pace of it I'm really enjoying it, but I do find it quite a difficult game!
I have no idea how to beat the second planet boss at the moment. Anyone played it? Got any tips!?

Re: Alien: Isolation
Distraction is definitely a key part of the gameplay. He will check out noise makers for quite a while allowing for some good progress through an area to be made.

Re: All things Metal Gear (Solid)
That seems like a really weird game! But not just in the normal Metal Gear way. In theory this should be the game I've been waiting for, huge open world stealth! I'm definitely interested to see more, some of the systems and gameplay looked really cool. My concern is there seems like there are some ...

Re: E3 2015 - Conference times, news and hype (!)
I've just caught up with some E3 news. I guess if I had to sum it up in one sentiment it would be 'this is the E3 we should have had last year'. Definitely feels things are more positive and focussed this year. I've been impressed that the conferences didn't spend an hour each trying to show off a d...

They put the price up of GTA so they could reduce it back down to £40.
Pretty sure that isn't allowed!! Cheeky bastards.

Not yet, but I remember seeing this a while back:

I don't think anything other than that trailer ever happened, but maybe someone will do something like it one day!

Re: E3 2015 - Conference times, news and hype (!)
I loved both 3 and Vegas, having not played the originals I was just completely taken in by the Skyrim style game in a setting I much preferred. However, I did find the New Vegas end game a bit confusing! Can't wait for Fallout 4! Visually that trailer didn't seem jaw dropping (work in progress anyw...

Re: Videogame News
Definitely a good thing for PC gaming because there is always a chance your hardware configuration just won't get on with a game. Hopefully this also applies to pre-orders too (although people shouldn't do them in the first place!). That way, when games come out that are not fit for purpose people c...
