Re: Electric razors / beard trimmers
I tend to have pretty thick whiskers and beards, moustaches, muttons, the lot. I love a set of whiskers. Over the years I've had expensive and cheap beard trimmers. What do you need it to do ?? I find the £12 Wahl (AA battery) trimmers do the lot for me (I currently on my 2nd set of these and they ...

Re: Games Completed 2020
28 - 7 Bloody Roar: Primal Fury (GC) Since I can now use arcade sticks on all my big screen gaming platforms I was looking for stuff on the Gamecube to play and I didn't get further than Capcom vs SNK 2 (the main reason I got the Gamecube connectors), SoulCalibur II, Super Puzzle Bobble All-Stars a...

Re: Games Completed 2020
Finished Halo 3 last night. It's funny, I've avoided spoilers for all these years and the ending is just the same as the first game. I guess it's a little Return of the Jedi? The combat is probably the best of the trilogy and I think they finally figured out the level design with the third. It real...

Re: Microsoft Xbox news and discussion thread
Agree with you Scrustle, was underwhelmed by it all. The gameplay of Halo looked good but graphically, even in 4K I thought even current gen open world games looked better Literally so hyped for Halo Infinite. I haven't been excited about a game in years and the gameplay looked so fun (in terms of ...

Re: My memories with the Xbox 360
Back to the console, I also got introduced to my current favourite Thrash Metal band - Megadeth, through the Xbox 360. Because you could listen to music whilst playing games, my friend put on a metal album while we played Gears of War. I asked who made these awesome songs and my friend said it was ...

Ha ha, yeah I know what you mean, Braid certainly has an interesting art style.
It is a really fun series. The 400 days DLC is the one I don't have actually. I'm currently on episode 4.
I'm certainly late to the party with the series.

Re: 433: Rayman
Simply one of the most charming and colourful games on the PS1. Many fun (and frustrating) hours were had with my friend trying to navigate a flying rayman through a spikey obstacle course. The 99 lives cheat was a must!

Re: The ongoing loot box and microtransaction discussion...
Following on with the lootboxes, I am happy that the UK government is at least discussing it in parliament, but the problem is that it is all talk with no action so far. Hopefully they go the same way as Belgium and completely ban them.

Love the title of this thread, but in all seriousness, please take care of yourselves! Every time we think the virus is gone, it comes back with a vengeance!

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Journey (PlayStation 3) - After many years and getting the game for free recently I got the chance to experience Journey. All the positive things I have to say about it relate to the visuals to be honest. The game itself I found to be hugely confusing and lifeless - set in a game world far too expa...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Recently been enjoying Telltale's The Walking Dead on PC and am about to start Lost Planet: Colonies on the Xbox 360. Lost Planet is one of my favourite series of all time, I still think the first game (especially with the smoke effects), holds up well to this day!

Re: 435: Halo 5: Guardians
Firing Halo 5: Guardians up on my Xbox One for the first time, I couldn't have been more hyped. I hadn't played a Halo game in years and it was my chance to be re-acquainted with the series. The weapons and movement in Halo 5 all felt amazing (especially with the boost/climb/ground slam/assassinatio...

My memories with the Xbox 360
Hi everyone, just a quick intro, my name is Howard and I used to be here as "HeviMetaru" on the forums! Great to be back and I'll chat with you all soon! 8-) I recently listened to the Xbox 360 special and have so far listened to it twice. One of the best console specials yet in my opinion...
