Re: Our Patreon
@Leon on the other hand maybe being less excited would make an interesting discussion on why game X is worse than others. I mean your strength usually isn't a huge amount of excitement but a level-headed and well-researched approach to each game. It's hard for me to believe that you would drop all t...

Re: What single game-mechanic can't/couldn't you get enough of?
Its more about presentation than mechanic but those make me do a repetitive thing over and over again Jumping and vaulting + counter animations in Assassins Creed 3 Shield Bash in Vermintide 2 Dash in Nier Automata Wall jumps/runs in Prince of Persia Misc animations in Far Cry games (like when you b...

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Curse of the Monkey Island just popped up on Steam/GOG. So maybe its a good time to revisit thought of doing Monkey Island Trilogy ? I know that first two are usually considered "must-play" but i think that addition of great voice actors in Curse makes it great part of the series.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
I've been riding a Skaven doomwheel bandwagon by playing a lot of Vermintide 2. This game is a really great sequel to first Vermintide. They kept this great meaty L4D style of gameplay (with an obvious focus on melee) and added good RPG-like progression, 3 classes per character, more loot, and no mi...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
I've been playing a lot of Kingdom Come lately. I'm about 50 hours in, significant progress in the main story and I've done a lot of side stuff. I think its a diamond in the rough. It has a really interesting story. It's cool how they managed to make something much more mundane than typical fantasy ...

Re: GOTY 2017
In no particular order: Hollow Knight - Probably least expected game I fell in love with. I don't play Metroidvania games, I don't like games where I try to beat one boss over and over again (like in dark souls) or where story is vague and you have to work for it (again like in dark souls). But amaz...

Re: Videogame News
I think that arguing for/against EA ship sailed long time ago Todhino and now we're discussing more general issue. and by we i dont mean only us here and now but gaming community in general. Unfortunately whatever happens wont affect just EA, but it will affect also smaller companies ... and i would...

Re: Videogame News
I see im a little late to the party:P Can i just add that microtransactions arent just somethigng that huge companies use to maliciously steal our money. They are often only means of earning money by smaller developers who have their dream project. Path of Exlie is one of those games. Its 100% free ...

Re: Path of Exile
The first major spike in difficulty comes when you reach chapter 5 (equivalent of Cruel difficulty before recent expansion) when you get first drops in elemental resistance and things start to hit harder. If you plan your build around damage nodes in passive trees at some point you're gonna hit that...

I noticed some interest in PoE, partly thanks to XBone release so im starting this thread where we can share our experiences, questions builds etc ;) In Harbringer league i managed to level two characters. Level 82 Sunder berserker with two handed axe. He pummels the ground and creates 3 consecutive...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Couple of clarifications regarding Path of Exile micro transactions 1. There's one thing sold that affects gameplay a bit. Those are additional stashes. While it is mainly the quality of life, they are nearly mandatory if you wanna start to get more serious about selling things to other players. PoE...
