Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
I'm continuing my slow run-throughs of Omno and Wild At Heart on the few evenings I have clear in a week (getting less as work begins to mount up ...) when the daughters are watching. And then push on a little more into Hades later on. Still not very far into it (furthest I've reached is the first b...

Re: Let's rank our top 5 Pixar films for no reason at all
So my five would be: 1) Wall-E This was immediately one of my all time favourites movies. The opening sections are a masterpiece in setting the story without exposition (even though they cheat it a little ...) and the characters of Wall-E and Eve are wonderful. 2) The Incredibles I love the idea of ...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
With Xbox allowing game streaming via browser, I recently gave Slay The Spire a quick go, aiming to try out both the streaming service and the touch controls. and I may have become just a little hooked on this game ... Right at the moment, I know that if I switch it on, I'll absolutely fall into the...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
True Achievements just finished their annual Bean Dive - the event where you are encouraged to play an as yet unplayed game until you unlock the first achievement then switch that off and move on to the next one. Didn't actually find a lot of time to participate in this and some of what I did was no...

my weekly plug for our D&D stream over at twitch.tv/pennydragongames, starting at 8pm BST tonight This week, we should be going to the mine which finishes this part of the campaign - so naturally we have gone instead to complete a side quest from a ruined village that will be completely safe ......

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Video gaming at the minute is mainly Sea Of Thieves . With the same regular crew, we are settling into particular roles and just enjoying spending time in the open world. Which has got a lot harder since the Pirates of the Caribbean update dropped as there are a lot more enemies now in the world (Ph...

Re: Knockout City
This had a week of freeplay recently - it certainly is fun but like so many team games, does require team communication to work properly. I found very quickly that just playing with randoms (at least on Xbox) just led to a series of defeats ... In answer to the question, I believe that this is total...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
After a spate of TTRPG sessions being cancelled, I've been getting into Sea of Thieves . Played this a bit while it was in beta/early access and while it seemed fine, it didn't really grab me at that point and I put it down right about the point it officially launched ... ... roll forward a few year...

Re: Shameless Self Promotion
For the last couple of weeks, I've been part of a Dungeons and Dragons livestreamed game which is proving to be a lot of fun. It runs every Tuesday from 2000 BST and can be found here: twitch.tv/pennydragongames Considering that the group came together solely for this as part of Penny Dragons final ...

Re: Warframe 2021
Linked up with HaloFandango for an hour or two last night and was reminded how well Warframe balances things. Helped Halo through some of the earlier missions which gave me chance to level up a previously untouched frame (Nekros Prime for those taking notes) and some additional weapons. That the gam...

Re: Warframe 2021
Mag was my starting frame ... and still has the most play time of the eight or so frames that are in my collection.
I'm all self-taught so I wonder what I've missed - I think I'll be trying that series!

Awesome, I pinged you a friend request and no sweat, whenever you are online! I'll install the game this week and give it a try. I was reading through the Warframe wiki and it is a great knowledge base, all of the Warframes look really cool. In terms of monetisation, from what i've heard the game i...

Re: Warframe 2021
You can absolutely ignore the systems at the beginning and just potter from mission area to mission area - and it's probably for the best until you are confident in what your frame can do! Get to learn the basics of modding weapons and frames then start to investigate further options when you seem ...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Outriders gnaws at me. I swopped to what I thought would be a disposable character to try out the Technomancer route and I think that playstyle may be more my scene (much more akin to The Division which I hadn't noticed until that point). But something just isn't feeling right - and I think it's th...
