Re: Your questions about The Talos Principle
I suppose I should include the questions I currently have: The game features ideas from Greek, Egyptian, and Christian religions and philosophy. What other sources did you draw inspiration from? Why did you choose these for source material? Was there anything you wish you could have included? The st...

Your questions about The Talos Principle
Hello there! This week I finished playing through Croteam's The Talos Principle and its expansion, Road To Gehenna. I really enjoyed the game's story and puzzles and felt compelled to reach out to the devs for a potential mini interview like I did with the devs of Jamestown earlier this year. Before...

Re: Sound of Play: 54
Really enjoyed this one! For future themed episodes, perhaps a topic could be made here in the forum where people can give more background to their requests. However y'all approach it, I hope there are more theme episodes in the future of Sound of Play. It may just be my current listening habits, bu...

Re: Sound of Play: 53
Loved this Sound of Play. I thought Leon's solo hosting was a bit more relaxed than the usual more conversational episodes, and was just what I needed to get through work tonight. Enjoyed all of the tracks, but the Halo and Final Fantasy tracks especially resonated with me. Thanks Leon and Jay for a...

Re: Our next podcast recording (30.7.16): Rock Band series
Rock Band is, without a doubt, one of the most important video games in my life. The only game that comes to mind as being arguably more important is The Binding of Isaac, but that's a topic for another time. My first experience with a rhythm game was Guitar Hero 2 on PS2 at a friend's house in 2007...

Re: Other podcast recommendations ?
I've been listening to Kinda Funny's Game Over Greggy podcast. It generally has the same four hosts, with occasional guests, and they talk about a wide range of topics, from the silly (Favorite color, stories about rabid raccoons) to serious (gun violence, racism, political correctness). Most topics...

Re: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Just completed this game tonight. I figured I'd share my thoughts on it before listening to the episode. First the things that I liked: The setting and style of the game was really good, I loved the fairy tale world, and liked that it took tropes and inspiration from various stories, but still made ...

Re: Our next podcast recording (26.5.16) - Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony
According to my Steam purchase history, I picked up Jamestown almost a year after its release when it was on sale for 66% off. I’m not a huge player of shmups, although I enjoy almost any that I play. I believe I learned about Jamestown after watching a review of it online, and added it to my wishli...

Re: How do you play games? (One at a time or multiple titles at once)
Lately I have had a few games going at once: at the moment they are Rogue legacy on PS4/Vita, getting close to platinuming it, and Bastion on PS4. Spelunky and GTA V are my go to games when I just want to relax for a bit. In addition to these I picked up where I left off in Tomb Raider today (about ...

Re: Our next podcast recording: Transistor
Bastion is in my top 10 favorite games, so when I heard about transistor, I got a little excited. I didn't pick it up day one, as I am always looking to save a few dollars, but got it in the summer sale and played through it in probably 2 or 3 sessions. First, what I liked about this game: Almost ev...

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?
I have been watching three shows recently: 1. Scrubs, I am watching it all the way through for the 2nd time. 2. Firefly, just started watching it for the first time, only on the 3rd episode, but I am loving it. 3. Arrested Development, I have seen a few random episodes, but am finally watching it in...

Re: Helldivers
I think the UAV was only available for a limited time, you had to buy the game shortly after its release. But I could be wrong.
My loadout usually consists of the scythe laser beam, and 4 mechs.

I haven't played too much recently, but I would love to get back into this game, I have had some pretty funny moments involving my mech suit and accidentally running people over. Add me on PSN if you'd like: Tleprie

Re: PlayStation Vita
Well I tried playing MGS2, but just couldn't get into it, the controls felt too clunky for me. Luckily I got a physical copy so I was able to return it, picked up Child of Light instead, and am enjoying it quite a lot. I may go back for MGS some other time.

Re: PlayStation Vita
I played through Tearaway a few months ago, I have been thinking about getting Final Fantasy X & X-2. I put about 30 hours into P4G, but it just lost its appeal for me.

Re: PlayStation Vita
I have played through Killzone, and really enjoyed it, I may go back through and try to complete more of the special missions. I played a bit of Uncharted when it was free on PS+, didn't really get into it, but I may have to try again.

Re: PlayStation Vita
I have a long car ride coming up in a few days, and am looking to try out something new on the Vita. As of right now I mostly play smaller indie games (especially spelunky), but would like to try out a more AAA game on the Vita. I am not a huge fan of JRPGs, but if someone can sell me on one I shall...

Re: SoP submissions *please read first post*
First is the track The Courtesy Call, from the Portal 2 soundtrack. I think it is played at or near the begging of the game, but don't quite remember. Regardless of where it appears, I think it reflects the overall tone of the game perfectly, shifting from tense to a bit slower and then picking up a...
