Re: Rocksteady's Batman games
Fair enough. I like the system they implemented in City in relation to finding the Riddler trophies, with Batman having to interrogate specific gang members. Each member only gives away a certain number of them each time you accost them this also added another slight level of complexity when they we...

Re: Rocksteady's Batman games
I don't want to come across as being overly critical of either the Scarecrow or Croc sections as I appreciate that the 'crow part was at least inventive in its own way and the genesis of those sections can be seen in both the Ra's al Ghul and the frozen shark tank areas in the sequel. I gotta say th...

Re: The Last Guardian
One issue is that this game was incredible visually and awe inspiring from a design perspective, but so much has changed since the announcement and show, not just in other games we've seen, but in games we've played. That untouchable level that it once had is gone and now, if it hasn't changed cons...

Still strange to think of these games co...

Re: WIN Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition [CLOSED]
A little off topic perhaps but the board time settings are correct, the problem is that each profile has the option to have daylight savings enabled or disabled and some still have it enabled which leads them to have incorrect times on their posts. As an admin I'll correct the settings to any of tho...

How do fast-paced video games affect the brain?
FktsFcooIG8 This is fascinating stuff. From my own personal experience, a little while ago we were walking around Richmond Park and I would randomly point and say "Look a rabbit!" and "Over there, a squirrel!". Our friend was surprised by how fast I'd spot them. I told her that ...

Re: Nintendo Wii U
I'm a little dismayed to how unresponsive the touch screen was in that video. Time will tell but I guess they have 12 months or so to get a foothold before the others next gen consoles will be hitting.

We've started to filter in some new alternative emoticons as I've always liked the idea of something a little more related to our favourite pastime, so decided to create some new ones instead - hope you like 'em! :) They look a little distorted in the group on the right but they are proportioned cor...

Re: The Last Guardian
I believe Studio Santa Monica only got involved purely from a technical standpoint in order to help out with some of the issues they are having. As well as having made games themselves, they are also one of Sony's support teams for PlayStation development having been involved to varying degrees with...

Re: The Last Guardian
He's said that he's still committed towards the games completion but given no indication as when that will be. I think that the main problem has been simply that Sony rushed into announcing it, giving the audience the sense that it would be available within a year or so from the original trailer rel...
