Re: Whatcha Been Watching?
So, Brotherhood of the Wolf... how the fuck did anybody I know get away with never mentioning it to me! I've had an issue with a certain historical period for a long time avoiding almost all media associated with it (I had a similar issue with wild west movies until I saw the Sergio Leone trilogy),...

Which Darren was that then? We have several of the buggers floating about (maybe we should give 'em numbers instead).

Curious to know why you didn't get on with either of those two games?jwalsh82 wrote:Funilly enough I didn't like Bioshock or Assassin's Creed (need to give those another go) but this looks brilliant - and will be a nice change of pace from Darksiders II.

All things Oddworld
I still clearly remember playing a demo of the original version on the PlayStation 1 and being blown away by both it's humour and engaging character so much so that I purchased the game and it's sequel day one (and still have them). So I think it's a safe bet that I'm gonna have to get this HD remak...

Re: Battlefield 3
I think they'll possibly be mostly close quarters maps but you never know. They'll be saving the big maps with destruction for end game I imagine. I think they will be similar to the Grand Bazaar and Seine Crossing maps in that they'll have ground vehicles - which is said to include the new "T...

Re: Battlefield 3
As you know I've not played the game long enough to be an expert here (and I am pretty psyched for new maps) but don't the vast amounts of debris meant these maps might be a little sniper heavy with the right camo? How do you think these new maps will play out based on the limited info you can gain...

So, now that we're all pretty settled into the Armoured Kill maps, here's a taster for the next expansion Aftermath
Flash suppressors and urban camo look set to be the order of the day for load outs for this one I reckon.

Re: Battlefield 3
Tell what did take me bloody ages , destroy a vehicle with repair tool, totally got it by accident, seen a tank getting hammered with RPG's and ran as fast as I could to finish it off with torch :) A quick way to do this is to use the EOD Bot. I needed a kill with it for one of the assignments so I...

Been on a journey through Vincent Cassel movies after watching Mésrine, Irreversible and Black Swan over the last few years. Going back to La Haine was something I should do more often, watching The Crimson Rivers on the other hand... not so much  What about Brotherhood of the Wolf ? It's a ra...

Re: Jet Set Radio HD
Bought both Jet Set games on launch and as I said before I have a lot of love for what they created with those games. In fact, I was so taken with the rollerskating characters I went and bought these shortly afterwards. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o52/Krylon70/IMG_0003_zps6cf63252.jpg I've us...

Cool.
Also, and without knowing whether you're a shooter fan or not, but the best Battlefield 3 players within this particular forum are on the PS3!

Re: One, two or three consoles?
Depends, what is it that's making you consider a PS3 instead of a 360? Personally speaking, I'd say that now is a great time to have a PS3 with them being available for a reasonable price. PlayStation Plus is also a particularly enticing addition if you're so inclined and certainly not forgetting it...
