Re: Nintendo Wii U

After a quick little Google, it appears I'm not alone - and that it's not clear cut either :?

Re: Nintendo Wii U

This is curious. Yeah man, I bought the VC NES version of SM3 from the eShop, its shocking. Most of the time it won't load up with any sound and the screen tears are dreadful. Not sure if it's like that for anyone else TBH. I find the Wii U VC versions to be pretty much faultless whereas the Wii 25...

Re: Nintendo Wii U

Picked up Super Mario All Starts 25th Anni for the Wii last week from eBay - £29.99 :o . Expensive but much better than playing the terrible emulated versions from the Wii U shop. Sometimes they don't play sound, and they run like a dog. Shocking how Nintendo put them out like that to be honest. Ala...

Re: Ori and the Blind Forest

I picked this up in the Xbox One GOTY sales for £8.99 - pretty emotional start !!

Anyway, I just did the water rush bit out of the tree - intense  .

Re: Super Mario Maker - Create, share and play levels with the community.

I got burnt out on rubbish levels but i'm hoping the bar has been raised Hey man, I was exactly the same. The rubbish, spammy submissions appear to have been pushed to the bottom and the cream and risen quite a bit. Or at least more than it was in the first few weeks. Also, there is blinding level ...

Re: Our next-but-one podcast recording: Mass Effect 3

Having wiped the floor with every possible achievement on the first two games and having loved the series you can imagine my horror when my 360 refused to read my disc half way through this title for some crazy reason.

My only hope now is that it comes to BC and I can finish what was started.

Re: The "Introduce yourself" thread

Long time listener, long time lurker :geek: . Promised myself I'd not get into forums again but had to sign up as the content here is just too juicy. Child of 1984, got my first console at my 7th Christmas which was a Sega Master System II. Missed the early Atari/Commodore era personally (age) but I...

Re: Nintendo Wii U

Ah, my Wii U. I love it but it gets very little actual love. I bought it to put on the front room TV as my Xbox One is next to my iMac on my desk. Having the Wii U in the front room gave the option of couch co-op with my wife, who likes games but they have to be put in her hand type of thing. Also, ...

I'm fairly sure the gnarly prawn cocktail crisps that one of you mention in the podcast but for the name of are, Petrified Prawns.

They were the nuts.

Re: Our next podcast recording: The Legend of Zelda

Zelda - WOW 1984 birth here. My Zelda story I mention here isn't so much about the actual game play, which I think most will all agree on, it's more about the journey. It's one that for the early part of my years revolved around things being too far out of reach and my cousin that lived in Cardiff a...
