Re: Sound of Play: 46

Not sure if it right place to ask but it would be good to get sound of play on http://www.wifiradio-frontier.com. This is so we can listen to your fab show on internet enabled radios and enjoy the tunes while doing the washing up.

OMG can't believe you played my pick :) Eyes on me gives me goose bumps every time. Never actually noticed that my name was in all caps lol. Leon mentioned the gods theme Into the wonderful. I did request it so hopefully one day it will be picked "hint hint" ;) Love both shows. Keep up the...

Re: SoP submissions *please read first post*

I bought Loom near the end of the atari St life when I spotted a big box copy at a boot sale think I recall paying about £3 for it. I had played the secret of monkey island and bought this simply because it was made by Lucas film. I didn't know it even existed before that point. It was a point and c...

Oh yes that was a good track, I really enjoyed that episode.

Re: SoP submissions *please read first post*

I loved R-Type on the sega master system. It was a very good port of the arcade game, although it suffered from a lot of sprite flicker (as with most SMS games did) it never detracted from the gameplay greatly. The mechanics of the game from powering up your blaster to having the shield orb in front...

Re: SoP submissions *please read first post*

Exile is another atarti st favourite of mine. Years before I played a metroid game I played this. It had you exploring a planet and its caves and fighting baddies. The great thing about this game was the physics. The player would fly around with a jetpack and shooting volleys of bullets at enemies. ...

Perhaps Mr Hamann will bring it back with added sleigh-bells for the Xmas Sound of Play..?

Re: Sound of Play: 28

What ever happened to the intro mash-up? Thought that intro was amazing!
I kinda miss it now that its no longer there at the start of each episode.

Re: SoP submissions *please read first post*

I owned (and still own) an Atari ST back in the day. I am a huge fan of the Bitmap brothers and it would be no surprise I love the Speedball 2 and especially its intro music. Theres a bit in the start sounds like the song has unwound on its virtual tape, whenever I heard it I thought for a spit seco...

I love the show and C&R. This is my first submission so be gentle. Not sure if this is a licensed track but I love it non the less. This track is called Eyes on me from the Final Fantasy 8 sound track written by Nobuo Uematsu and sung by the Chinese pop superstar Faye Wong in one of her very few...
