My 2 year old loves the show so it might be a nice way to introduce gaming.
Ivy and myself spent a whole month on Super Mario World. A level or two a day in the mornings to break the "8am boredom"

It's such a good way to introduce gaming and i'm definitely getting that Paw Patrol game, we're just slowly working our way through the remake of Castle of Illusion first. We started that in September!
I’m planning on getting paw patrol too. I never thought I’d be that parent who would pick a brand name over quality! On the basis of absolutely no reviews I’m going to waste 30-40 pounds on a game!

Windjammers is out on the eShop, as stvnorman mentioned. I'd only ever played it at Arcade Club in Bury but I've just had a brilliant half hour on it. Online doesn't seem to have launched yet but I'll be right there when it comes. Can't wait to get a few mates on it, too. I bet the skill ceiling is insane.

It wont be a waste if the kids love it!.

Windjammers is a classic, I bought it day one on PS4 (I think it is cross buy with Vita too). Totally see myself getting it on Switch too when it goes on sale.

Yeah I buy most of my games on sale nowadays and unless Santa Claus can give me some more money, i'll be waiting for Paw Patrol to drop in price before we get to it.

We do have a house full of Nintendo games so we'll be okay until it's about 20 quid.

Sorry. waste is probably the wrong word:)

I just remember being in video games shops watching parents blindly buying army men or other licensed games with the best intentions while I stood next to them knowing that the game had been given 1/10.

Even if it’s terrible I’m sure my son will love it and that’s what it’s all about but I’m hoping it’s vaguely playable rather than licensed garbage.

Maybe it’s all the people disgruntled with the industry working conditions buying paw patrol in protest.

I also found a grand total of one (!) source claiming that Psyvariar Delta is due to come out next week as well.
Hope it's true. Kinda looking forward to it after the local... stanning.
Spoiler: show
Couldn't resist!

I can’t wait for my copy of Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun! to arrive. Been playing the demo to death. But I’m looking forward to my drum controller even more!

Had to cancel mine as there's quite a few expensive things coming (Prodigy album super bundle, Smash Ultimate, RDR2 and Christmas in general)

Hopefully they'll a few copies left after Xmas!

A Quiet Man is out today.

I have read the reviews but as a sucker for old FMV games I will pick it up tonight.

Some of the .gif’s I’ve seen of this are LOL.

My Taiko No Tatsujin hasn’t arrived - which is bad knickers.

The Quiet Man is reviewing *very* poorly. It sounds like an experiment that just straight up hasn’t worked. Which is a shame.

From what I've read, the actual gameplay sections are just terrible. Terrible graphics, controls, animation. Experimental games are one thing, and I think a hybrid FMV/rendered game could potentially work, but it sounds like they just forgot to make the game parts actually worth playing.
