What a list. Some new ones for me in there plus some old faves.

Metal gear solid V is both a blessing and a curse. Would love to replay it but it’s so so massive. I also don’t think I’ll be able to get through demon’s souls and both dark souls games in time for DS3 so might have to listen to that in ten years or so:)

Oof, some of my biggest personal disappointments are in there! The games themselves of course, not the fact that they're being covered on the podcast. Those threads are gonna get nasty, although I'm sure the wonderful Dr. Nelson will be more than willing to balance things out a bit. :P

Either way, should be fun.

Woohoo! Some top picks there! Can't wait for the Donkey Kong one, one of my all time top arcade games! Loads of great games!

And what's the background tune? It was awesome.

Then (and I know a few others on here do this too) create an Excel spreadsheet, list the games, mark which ones I want to play along with and the ones I think I have something worthwhile saying about and start preparing.

The CandR podcast listing makes up a large chunk of the games I play each year and which ones I add to my collection, as where possible/sensible I always pick up the games I play along with.

Video games are rad, good times 8-) .

Did one of you creep into my mind and select some of my all-time favourites and the most pressing titles on my backlog? Sneaky!

AC Black Flag is an excellent choice for discussion and probably still my favourite AC. Monkey Island 2 is still in my top 10 all-timers. If that's the Genesis/MegaDrive Aladdin, that one is going to hit me in my childhood. Furi I have fond memories of because it was the first game I officially reviewed! And the rebooted Hitman was an absolute delight for me to discover on our own podcast.

I have MGS5, Prey, Observer, Virginia, Gravity Rush, Nier Automata, Captain Toad, BotW, Shovel Knight and The Evil Within all sitting in my backlog. What a time for me to jump back into the forums!

Looks like the Mega Drive Aladdin from that artwork. As everyone knows, the SNES version is the far superior game 8-) , but there's no doubt that the Mega Drive version is more iconic in terms of how big a deal it was at the time (and it will make for a more interesting discussion on the show). I'm guessing this issue will coincide with the live action movie remake that's coming out this year?

Presuming that's one of the Shovel Knight expansions (as they already covered the main game recently)?
