So, with the excellent detective skill of KSubzero1000 it possibly looks a little like this:

Nex Machina
Virginia
Gravity Rush
Hitman (2016)
Street Fighter V
Nier: Automata
Final fantasy VIII
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Dark Souls 3
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (I think? Could be another one)
Pony Island
This War of Mine
Final Fantasy IX
Pilotwings
DOOM
Persona 5
Aladdin (not sure which one)
Ape Escape
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
Paradroid
Final Fantasy X
Furi
Donkey Kong (1981 arcade version)
Dino Crisis
Prey (2006)
Inside
Doom 3
???
Observer
Final Fantasy XII
Metal Gear Solid V: The Fandom's Pain
Final Fantasy XIII
Superhot
Prey (2017)
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Guitar Hero / RockBand something something (DJ Hero possibly)
???
Donkey Kong Country
The Evil Within
Batman: Arkham Origins
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
Either Banjo-Tooie or Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (can't tell)
The Evil Within 2
???
???
Donkey Kong Country Returns (from what I can tell, could be another one)
Final Fantasy XV

Still some hidden stuff of course, and this could all be quite wrong too from me!

Are you absolutely sure the neon green sci fi rail shooter looking thing at 1:06 (right after Inside) is Doom 3?

If you're referring to the wrench-wielding horror FPS at 1:05, I'm 99% sure that's Prey (2006). Could be wrong, though.

Not in the slightest, but its what it looks like it is to me. Added to that I am taking a logical leap in that it would fit in with them covering Doom 3 followed by the latest Doom. You are correct with the timestamps.

If I was going for a real punt I would say Dead Space Extraction for the Wii but that is a proper flight of fancy.

But happy to be very wrong on that as well ;)

They already covered Doom 3 back in Issue 215, so I don't think that's it :)

Is the wireframey one at 1:06 Dyad, from the PS3?

Almost certain, but I can't find footage of that exact level.

EDIT: Think one of the later missing ones is Galaxian from the NES.

Hooray!

I'm having a strange flashback about that wooden warrior chap shortly after Evil Within 2. That one's going to annoy me.

EDIT: Planescape??? I never played it but I feel like I saw that dude in a magazine...

Yep, that's it again!

First you spoil me on the RE2 trophies, now you're steamrolling the CaR Volume 8 list. That's a productive day! :P

I didn't notice Monkey Island 2, although I could have sworn it had already been done! Maybe it was just the first game before?
KissMammal wrote: January 7th, 2019, 5:01 pm Looks like the Mega Drive Aladdin from that artwork. As everyone knows, the SNES version is the far superior game 8-)
I'll formulate a decent argument as soon as I finish laughing.

I did love the SNES Aladdin. I was always better at platforming than combat when I was seven. Plus, at that age, I didn't even know there was another version of Aladdin!

Looks like, if I plan out my own gaming schedule, I can add thoughts to fourteen of these games! I think that's up from last year!
