That would be sweet for the players who missed out on these. The GameCube in particular still has quite a few hidden gems that have yet to be made digitally available anywhere, as far as I know.

That sounds like exactly what I was after since the disappointment of ORAS.

If they get Gamecube games on a handheld, all of a sudden I'm very interested.

A Metroid 2 Remake in the style of Metroid: Zero Mission has been released as 1.0!

It's rather good.

Check this out.

It's fluff and made by a user on :reddit called Joseph Staleknight but it's fun and brings to the table a lot of good, if impractical (expensive) ideas.

I'm looking forward to when Nintendo announce this so we can start actually fitting it into our plans.

That was quite interesting/entertaining. However it ends up looking, I don't think it'll be as flat as he's drawn it, it'll be awfully uncomfortable to use for any length of time if so.

Good stuff! I do prefer my ever expanding Nintendo patform physical releases.

Nice too see some new N3DS XL's coming to Europe.

The white one, red one (with red buttons) and a pink one. All with changeable faceplates too.

It sounds daft but the only reason I don't have a N3DS XL already is that I wanted a white one, I already have a red & black 3DS XL and a white N3DS, so now I can complete my ideal collection on 11/11/16.

Pretty close to having every Nintendo handheld now.

Federation Force isn't reviewing that badly. Not sure if I'll buy it, since I'm not keen on multiplayer shooters, but at least it didn't get torn to shreds.

It was never going to get ripped to bits by reviewers if it was decent, most critics try to judge things on what they are, not what they aren't.

Aye. One of the last bosses spoilers though (read at your own peril)
Spoiler: show
It's Giant Morph Ball Samus. And it looks lame as anything.

I heard somewhere that MFF was perhaps something else before it was titled a Metroid game, then the Metroid name and skin was added later.

You can see why they'd do that but it seems like such an awful way to water down a franchise.

Having recently bought a Wii U, I wonder what the specs will be for the NX. Is BOTW going to be a bit average on the Wii U? I know nobody can answer that but I really hope I can eke one more game out of it...

This may or may not be relevant, but the GameCube version of Twilight Princess was wonderful.

I appreciate where you're coming from with that. If it turns out to be anything like as comparable, I'll be delighted. On the other hand, I want the NX to be a step up. Bit of cognitive dissonance, hmm.
