Bayonetta was always on my list of games to get to but I never did. Looks like the special edition will be perfect for me

Super Smash Bros for 3DS demo is out next week on the eShop but could be available today if you're a Platinum Club Nintendo member (US) or a select EU member!

It was trickier for me to find one, being in Australia. Luckily, there's plenty of people to do the work for me and just link me to posts containing valid codes.

The game is super smooth, even with 3D on it runs flawlessly. The default controls feel well enough that I can have fun, though tournament-level play is obviously not going to happen, it moves faster than Brawl, but not as fast as Melee, and it's got the perfect pick-up-and-play feel that Smash Bros. is great at, which translates seamlessly to a handheld.

It's an impressive feat technically, but the controls still feel a little bit off to me. I was always more interested in the WiiU version and I don't think the demo changes my opinion of that.

I'm also a little surprised at the choice of characters available in the demo. With the much larger number of female characters they have this time they didn't think maybe one of them should've been in the demo?

Amazon emailed me a code for the 'Skyward Sword' DLC costumes for Hyrule Warriors for pre-ordering from them. I really wanted the Twilight Princess ones though, did anyone get that from a different retailer and want to swap?

Review scores are coming in! The only common negative is the lag for both offline and online multiplayer. Iv'e had a bit of lag during my local multiplayer sessions but nothing game breaking.

Sitting at a metacritic 88... not bad at all but by all accounts, the Wii U version is superior in many ways.

I made a Smash 3DS thread over in the community section, so you can head over there if you wanna exchange friend codes and set up sessions, etc.
