Abzu is currently £1.49 on Switch.

I enjoyed this on PS4, not as much as Journey, but enough. And at that price, I'll play it again.

Plus, it cost me 29p with my gold points!

There are tons of deals coming out ahead of Black Friday here in Canada. Keep a lookout as it may be cheaper to import some games with the deals about!

The base version of Destiny 2 is available on Stadia whether a pro member or not. So you can play it on your phone for free (ios support incoming too).

Cross save works well as my stadia/xbox saves update flawlessly.

Apparently there’s a fairly hefty discount on XSX and XBO joypads on the MS store for Black Friday.

Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition is £11.19 on Stadia down from £79.99.

It's the game plus all planned dlc and a bunch of cool gear. I've just finished Tales Of The Borderlands so I'm picking it up.

I've seen this going around that is supposedly a list of all the upcoming free games being given out on Epic during this current sale. No idea what the source is so I guess take it with a pinch of salt, but it seems to have been accurate on the first three games so far.

What Remains of Edith Finch is currently at a 70% Switch discount, and Horace- a well-reviewed 2D platforming indie- is at 90%.

Yeah there are some great deals on Switch eShop at the moment. Kentucky Route Zero is £12 too, which I'll definitely be getting.

Horace is a very well regarded platform type game I think and is currently only a pound (90% off) on Switch. Looks nice, I just grabbed it.

10/10 on Nintendo Life: https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/sw ... hop/horace

What kind of platforming is it? Is it super hard like Super Meat Boy and Celeste?

I'm not sure to be honest, but the few reviews I've read mention the toughness, but one review specifically mentions it's not 'Super Meat Boy' hard. Personally I found SMB way more difficult than Celeste, so something pitched more towards the Celeste end would do me. Reviews mention getting abilities as well, and it seems like the game keeps throwing ideas at you. I've not really looked in to a loads, but thought it was worth a pound to try anyway.

From the review above: Horace plays like a dream to match its frankly majestic use of extremely expressive sprite art. It's a platformer, but such a smooth, intuitive one that it's a joy to play. The physics feel great - there's a weight to Horace that gives his movement something of a timeless feel. Level design is strong, with platforms and obstacles that are clear and distinct. Initial areas are fairly straightforward, but it doesn't take long before Horace acquires the ability to run on walls and ceilings, transforming the way you navigate the terrain - the way you see it, even.

Sounds cool, also mentions it goes a bit MetroidVania at times.

The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup is 99p on the App Store.

https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/rusty-pup/id657723093

And also a similar price on steam.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8006 ... Rusty_Pup/

Full disclosure, I did some QA work on this game and we interviewed Chris Seavor and Shawn Pile on this very podcast.

It's a good game but a tough one. For this price it's worth it for a curiosity go at least.
