Starlink, with toys, is now down to £12.99 for all platforms on Amazon. And I thought the £17 I paid on Switch was a bargain!

Sonic the Hedgehog deals on Xbox at the moment. Not much on there but couldn't say no to Sonia Mania for under £10.

£14.99 now, but still a bargain! Is it good? I was considering it but not completely sure.

I played it on the Switch and it was alright. I spent £20 on it and didn't feel like I'd wasted my money.

You'll get a very good ten hours out of it and think the reviews were way off. Then you hit the treadmills of repetition and completely understand. Worth it for twenty notes.

Steam sale. Anyone getting anything fun? Seems awfully quiet this year. Are we as a collective reaching 'Peak Backlog"?

Well, I'm almost at Peak Backlog but I still bought Planescape: Torment in the GoG sale.

I heard it's a good video game and I like good video games. :)

This is not going to end well!

I am NOT at Peak Backlog so I have been buying some stuff. From the following three games, can you identify the one that is entirely fictional, and therefore I have not bought?
an intimate, narrative-driven adventure that follows the path into sentience of a robot vacuum cleaner.
a single-player, first-person thriller set off the coast of Iceland. Inspired by Beethoven's only opera Fidelio.
a bittersweet, time-travelling adventure where you solve puzzles, kill monsters and save humanity by discovering yourself.

Based on the way you phrased the question, I'm gonna guess the third one is the fake one.

??

Correct! I think I made the description too generic :(

And to answer dusk's question, I also bought Interstellar Transport Company and We. The Revolution (on PS4), and am currently eyeing up this list of games I will potentially never play:

There was a good list of very cheap or free games over at RPS forum this morning:

Also! The Council is half price on PSN at the moment. I think there's a first-episode-for-free demo.

I hear War of the Chosen is great, but I still have to play the base game, so someday.

Couple of cheapo recommendations that aren't shmups if you're struggling for something to buy.

£1.49 - The Haunted Hells Reach
It's supposed to be a co-op shooter but the netcode is gash and it makes it too easy. Play it as a single player game instead, it's this much fun!

£1.59 - Pac-man 256
Endless, procedurally generated pacman. Sometimes you feel like the RNG gods have done you over, but it's never not fun. very addictive.

£2.09 - Golden Krone Hotel
Really fun simplified roguelite where you can turn into a vampire.

£2.19 - Spelunky
The best game.

£2.24 - Painkiller Black
Hasn't aged a day, still plays great.

£2.39 - Rush Rover
Great twin stick shooter roguelite that encourages aggressive play, clear rooms quickly and without taking damage to push your way up the leaderboards.

£2.99 - Immortal Redneck
First person shooter roguelite done right.

£3.74 - American or Euro Truck Simulator.
Pick one, they're much of a muchness. Great relaxation tools disguised as a truck sims.

Anyone else get this email and not need their code?
