I only finished it on Easy but still I found it more difficult than anything else I've played this year I can see me coming back to it and working my way through the harder difficulties. Really fun, rewarding game.

Just finished Dead Space 2. Apart from a bit of a crummy ending the game was awesome! Way way better than the first game, which I just found boring. Think I'm going to replay Red Dead Redemption next.

Did you find the last boss a nightmare? I did. That and the regenerating necromorph in the final chapter, hope they ditch that idea for 3.

The last boss wasn't too difficult but the re-generating Necromorph was a bastard! I wasted loads of ammo trying to kill it lol. It was funny, when I started the game I was properly jumping and tense, but by the end chapters you get kind of used to it and all your guns are all bad-ass by then you never really feel in too much danger but when that regenning Necro keeps chasing you it was awesomely tense running and gunning through the level again. Kind of like being pursued by the Nemesis in Resi 3 x 1000 haha.

yeah, I completed it and quite enjoyed it though much prefer the core story than the side stories. Still, it did have a visually spectacular fight with a gunship where the lighting was particularly vibrant. But I've only completed the DLC once where I completed Dead Space 2's main storyline 4 times going on a 5th (on the DE version.)
