Very interested in checking it out. I had a Saturn and Christmas nights but I never clicked with it, probably because it wasn't on the N64 :P

In spite of it (on an unnervingly regular basis) not registering my input, I've beaten 5/6 of Super Hexagon's levels. Games like it and Canabalt are ones that I relish the existence of in this day and age.

Just starting Dead Island, Lovefilm obviously have a sense of humour after sending Resi 6 yesterday. Great intro to the game. I've picked the sharp weapons expert Xian.

Exactly who I chose :) best bet is probably blunt weapon specialist, they're best with about 90% of the weapons you pick up.
Watch out for online partners who skip the cutscenes :x

Funny you should say that, that's exactly what just happened.

Okay, Super Hexagon's iPhone 5 update erased my save data, so I'm back to just 3/6 stages complete; just the three regular stages.

Just bought SSF2HD as it was half price (600MSP). SF3 online and Vitua Fighter 5 are half price too. Hate the Xbox dashboard I would've never found these if I hadn't fished around. I had no idea about MvsC Origins coming out either.

Just clocked Max Payne 3 and it was one hell of a game to get me back into 360 based gaming!
Phenomenal game with a gritty realism and brutal, bloody shoot outs that were awesome to witness and participate in. Enjoyed the storytelling with the darker aspects it ventured into and found myself caught up with Max's plight. Can't beat jumping in all slo-mo & clearing out a room with furniture exploding all around you and blood pumping from various freshly made orifices on opponents. Surprised that the 360 was capable of such amazing graphics on such old tech.

Picked up a few new Skylanders so i've gone back to that to prep for the upcoming Skylanders Giants. It's definitely a fun game :)

Can't say I'm overly impressed with SSFII HD, the sounds effects are out of time or sometimes missing which is really off putting. Not loving the HD art style but you can change it back to the original. Dee Jay is still cheap too ;)

If you are curious about the changes in the game, I'd suggest reading this
http://www.sirlin.net/sf

It's by the guy who did most of the rebalancing, even if you don't agree with the choices, it's interesting seeing the rationale...

And as for what I've been playing... I just finished TL2 and Solatorobo, and can't really find something to fit my mojo. Knights in Nightmare has been doing the job of Bus travel entertainment though.

Also SSFIIHD has a ridiculously complex suite of dipswitches to allow you to tweak the version of the game to your whim.

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit - really enjoyable platformer, currently free for those on PSN+. Although the mechanics are fairly straightforward and doesn't bring anything new to the table in that regard, it is batshit crazy and has a fantastically anarchic sense of humour. After killing a new enemy you go into a wario ware style minigame, some of which are hilarious. Can't believe they are giving it away upon release. If you have PSN+ do yourself a favour and check it out.

Yeah I noticed those, I don't know if I'll play it too much as I haven't even played much SSFIV since buying the arcade edition add on. I just like having it there on my hard drive.

Being dabbling back into Skyrim a little and I've noticed Dawnguard has added some interesting new quests that are not based around the main storyline. They've also tried to make dungeons look a little bit more exciting by reskinning a few I think.

Going though the Metal gears, realy enjoyed 1 & 2, half way though Solid: the twin snakes. Having never played the first solid game before I'm suprised by how much of a dick Solid snake is. Also I found it very hard on the Normal dificalty setting and had to knock it down to easy.

Briefly going back to Binding of Isaac before Retro City Rampage, XCOM and Dishonored hit. Torchlight 2 didn't really grab me despite its obvious quality, guess I'm all clicked out for this year.

My foray to Conan world is thankfully over with a completion on Hard Mode and that game really sits well below the bar compared to its peers.

For me it became a frustrated, bug ridden game that seemed to have poor reactive controls and non free flowing combat systems. Platform inch was frustrating at points and cut scenes mediocre. Time to figure out what next DL or XBLA pile of shame game to tackle.
