I've just done this too, and for those with a bunch of prepaid months on Gold and Game Pass this is a REALLY good deal.

For every month of Gold you have, you get a one month of Ultimate, and for every month of Game Pass, you also get a month of Ultimate.

I had Gold paid up to early January, and Game Pass until around late March, but following the upgrade (and paying £1 for the first month of Ultimate) I had Game Pass Ultimate running up to the end of October 2020! For a quid!

Amazon also have a deal on right now for 3 months of Ultimate for £14.99 (£5 a month - over half price), so I bought that, added it on to my subscription, and I'm now stacked with Game Pass Ultimate until the end of January 2021.

Here's the Amazon offer: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Offer-Ultimate ... %2C135&sr=

Not bad at all. I'd urge all current Gold and/or Game Pass to upgrade - it's a no-brainer....

I've signed up to Game Pass Ultimate and it's been hit and miss for me. I've managed to download a few games. They all worked fine yesterday and then today I was unable to play all but 2 of them. They won't even launch. Also now when I go to download any games it fails and gives me a download error code. This happened before and managed to uninstall then reinstall the app and it worked fine. This time that didn't work however.

Weird. Never had a single problem.

I just upgraded and have saved myself money by doing absolutely nothing. I now pay nothing until Feb 2020!

So bizarre. It is a little naughty in another sense as those who don’t switch to ultimate will end up paying the two separate subs. I thought it would happen automatically.

Really odd thing I’ve noticed but my friends list is different on xbox360 vs Xbox One. I have a very small 360 list but my Xbox one list is a bit bigger.

I only noticed it because I was playing BK: nuts and bolts and did a particularly jammy run and thought I wonder what Darren AKA Rare ultimate fan got but there was no time. Then I looked and he wasn’t on my 360 friends list but he is on XboxOne. Weird! It’s the same account and everything.

Apologies if this is well known but doesn’t happen on vita/PS3/ps4

Short version: 360 friends are automatically mutual, Xbox One ones aren’t.

How odd. It looks like you sort of follow people on Xbox one rather than actually become friends with them.

The next GWG have been announced.

Tembo The Badass Elephant Oct 1-31
Friday The 13th The Game Oct 16-Nov 15
Disney's Bolt Oct 1-15
Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge Oct 16-31

I for one am bang on Friday The 13th. Have been interested since release but just didn't want to have to buy it in case it just wasn't that good (thankfully Dead By Daylight kind of proved it by being on Game Pass) but I will definitely give it a go as it's free.

Word of advice: NG3 is a complete abomination which might give first-time players the absolute worst impression of the Ninja Gaiden series.

I heard Razor's Edge was a big improvement. Albeit one that doesn't save it from being a bad game, but still.

Razor's Edge is indeed an improvement in many respects. But there is only so much they could improve upon considering how the base game simply gets so many of the fundamentals completely wrong.

New additions to Game Pass in October include Fallout New Vegas and Dishonored 2!

I’m finally getting Gamepass because of The Outer worlds.

Really, really looking forward to playing this.

Mind you - I won’t be unless I can work out “DNS is not resolving Xbox server names” error I keep getting meaning I can’t log into Xbox Live.

😐

Lonely Mountains bike riding game looks good, as well, once you get GP working mate.

Cool man, I’ll make a note of that.

Coincidentally the other game that I’ve been wanting to play is “The Outer Wilds”, which is also on Gamepass, so I’ll take a look at that also.

Isn’t the newest Metro on there too ??
