I didn't try mouse and keys, but 360 pad works fine in flight and for combat. Just need to hop on keyboard and mouse for some in dock situations, buying good etc where it's a lot quicker.
I took the plunge at Christmas though and obtained a full flight stick as a present. Thrustmaster HOTAS Flightstick-X .. not a huge investment, but gives you a little more of the feel of it. Next step... Occulus Rift??? :D

Thanks for the info. I might give it a go with keys/360 pad and see if I want to take the flight stick plunge..!

To paraphrase Salman Rushdie's famous cream cake advertising slogan: Nerdy... but nice.

Not to get too deep into things in the photography thread but it's a great modern version of Elite, provided you are ok playing an always online game even when playing the solo version (Events in the more MMO side effect the game world you play in solo also)

So here's my massive dump of my Lords of Shadow 2 screenshots. I went a bit crazy with shots and ended up taking 2550 of them... Don't worry, I'm "only" posting 83 of them here. As such, I'll spoiler them, because it's pretty ridiculous otherwise.

So I finished Zeno Clash 2 today, and it has some really stunning and strange views.

Wow! Thanks for posting those, Scrustle. I'd heard bits and bobs about Zeno Clash 2, but nothing about the visuals. Those scenes look like not dissimilar to 70s trippy rock album covers (by someone like Rodney Matthews) - lots of weird and interesting stuff going on in them.

Found this thread before looking for something else. A while back I started trying to compose photos in DS2. Still haven't finished yet as I only really thought of doing this near the end of my first PC run. I'll keep this updated and keep sharing them as I get a good shot. I thought I'd get some really nice symmetrical shots in the tower but when you try to frame the shot, you notice everything is slightly out from one side to the other.

I've started to organise these into an album over here too.

Those Dark Souls shots are really cool. I was actually thinking the other day how Dark Souls 3 could really use a photo mode. I guess that couldn't really be done without the ability to pause the game.
