I seriously think Ethan Carter is one of the best looking games ever made. I haven't had a chance to play it myself, but I haven't seen a single shot of that game that I wasn't blown away by. I suppose it can do what it does because it doesn't really have much it needs to process in terms of gameplay systems, but regardless I think it's odd it isn't spoken about more simply for its visuals. You can see it clearly out-does Ryse for example.

Probably some of the best fog I've seen in a game.

It's absolutely fantastic, the handling, sounds, graphics and track physics are out of this world. This makes Assetto Corsa feel like Micro-machines 3D on the mega drive.

Having really enjoyed Assetto (put about 25 hours in), this makes me even more excited!!

I didn't like the handling on Shift 2 but it sounds like they've done some serious work on making it better for Project Cars.

I played a little of Project Cars at Eurogamer, and the handling was brilliant. Many times better than the handling in Shift 2. It's definitely up there with the best stuff in the genre from what I could tell.

To be honest, they could release it now and still be better than anything on the market.

Yeah, I was surprised when I heard they were pushing it back. I only played a tiny bit, but it already feels very polished and well put together. It's kind of funny, because there's another racing game that got pushed back recently as well, which was also supposed to come out this year. The Crew. That definitely seemed like it needed it, from what I played anyway.

I watched some CPU battle it out on Smash Bros with my four year old Godson on Christmas Day. It was perfect entertainment for him and none of the effort for me in terms of playing. I took some screenshots when I was instructed to "TAKE PHOTO, DARREN!". All these poses are purely accidental.

I had forgotten all about this bit in GTA V. Now in even more trippy new gen goodness.

What control set-up are you using, Stex? I still haven't taken the plunge as I'm wondering how it will be playing with just standard mouse and keys.
