The "Man-Cave" / "Lady-Cave" Illustrated

Post by mikeleddy83 »

Just spent a few minutes taking pics of my collections of games and overall setup. I've got no point of reference except the ebay sales of collectors with 1000's of games so I'm interested in knowing what a "normal" healthy video game lovers' on-show collection looks like.

Already looks miles better than my setup, really need to get some posters up here.

Nice Bayonetta figures (I think - spent 5 mins trying to figure out what they were), were they expensive? I saw these on holiday but they were so expensive I could barely even look at them for more than 15 seconds.

Yeah that's Bayonetta & Jeanne. Presents from a Japan-based friend (SpoonSix on here) so I couldn't tell you the cost.

Your Rex is all kinds of awesome though.
8-)

I might do some shelf-close-ups if I get chance. You can see my Ueda-signed Ico art card from Jay then.

The Play Arts Bayonetta figure I got cost £35/40 from Amazon. :)
Proper looking forward to setting my game room up when I get moved in with Sarah. With countless action figures, statues from Collector's Editions of games, and a Gold Plated Retro Lancer from Gears 3, it's going to be awesome

Not telling how much the Bayonetta figures were ;)
I do get a bit starry-eye/kid in a sweet shop whenever I look at the shelves in Leon's Man-Cave, it has to be said :o :P

This thread has a real lack of Lady Cave pictures. Looks completely different when I search for them on Google.

I used to have a really nice set up. About a dozen consoles plus an Amiga all hidden wires and ready to play, wall to wall shelves of games ranging from the classics to the rare. Had to sell most of it over the space of a particularly hard year a while back. I'll see if I can find some old pics. It was hard to let it go, I put notes in the packages telling the eBay purchasers to look after it well lol.

Not seen one of those yet, is it pretty much to scale?

Any pics from before the angelic act? I mentioned this to my girlfriend last night and she made it quite clear that I'd be best to make the most of my current situation while it lasts

Ha, I did that with a collectors edition of a game I couldn't keep last year, I think I wrote something along the lines of "Don't open it, it's a collectors edition", I felt like a complete mentalist but just couldn't resist the urge to do it, still a 5 star review though.

Looks like I've found the solution to the square eyes epidemic I've been warned about for most of my life.

Definitely going to have a look into getting an arcade stick, they're starting to become a bit of a trend.
