I have been tempted by Evolve for a while but I just don't know if I need another FPS in my life. CS:GO is currently filling that particular need!

Weird that that Order is this soon, I would've thought there'd be a massive PR push by now but I don't recall seeing much.

I loved playing the DOA games back on the original X-Box but haven't really touched one since then. However, with this updated version of 5 being released for the PS4 at a reduced price I'm going to pick it up for sure.

Shame that The Order is getting such a bad rep before it's even out with many saying it's only about a 5 hour playtime filled up with loads of QTE's. While I would like to play it I'm going to wait until it's about £20, and that won't be long by the looks of things.

Yep, The Order will be hitting the trade in bins pretty quickly. I'd prefer to rent it, but can't because Boomerang are total wankers.

Indeed. Then let your details be hacked by their piss-poor security. And fail to warn customers with their wank customer service. Or charge customers for their subscriptions multiple times, £16 17 times in one month.
Yeah, sign me up for that shit ;)

Enjoy it while it lasts, the release schedule (at least on XBO and PS4) gets pretty empty until May after here...

Well, there's gotta be a lull at some point to actually play the buggers, right? There's been a fair few games out recently!

Helldivers! The reason I bought a vita more than a year ago!

I actually disagree, I know these games don't appeal to everybody but:

New Releases
  • Bloodborne
    Battlefield Hardline
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (ok so technically a re-release but a new release in the west at least)
    Mortal Kombat X
Resident Evil: Revelations (weekly - other episodes)
Re-Releases
  • DmC: Devil May Cry: Definitive
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin
Like I said, not every game is for everyone but I'd say that's not the worst list in the world for this time of year.

That is all fair point. I don't have a PS4 so at the moment I'm tending to forget about it's exclusives.

MKX interests me, Netherrealm are one of the few fighting game developers that take pride in putting in a decent single player campaign. I thought that was later in the year than it is, but we're still talking mid April.

Square... well Square's Japanese stuff I'm done with now. Type 0 will have to have absolutely stellar reviews to make me commit to their badly translated, badly animated 90's gameplay throwbacks now (overly harsh? Perhaps, but you should see the mess they're making of their iOS stuff lately...)

I don't think it's exactly fair to judge Type-0 by that precedent. It looks very different from most other FF games. It actually looks pretty interesting to me. Way more interesting than the vast majority of FF games, or JRPGs in general. It was directed by the Kingdom Hearts guy too.

EDIT: Slight correction. The Type-0 guy isn't the Kingdoms Hearts guy. He's actually the guy who did those FF7 spin-offs on PSP that were kind of action-RPG-like. Also found out Hexadrive are doing the HD version of Type-0. They also did Okami HD and Wind Waker HD, so they're pretty good at it.

I've utterly no interest in Final Fantasy anymore, I'm done with it. Three (THREE!!) FF 13 games wanked the series into a grave for me.

Last one I enjoyed was XII. I've got X on my vita but never touched it.

Games are almost always released on Tuesday in the US, so if the publisher wants a simultaneous release we usually get the game on a Tuesday as well. Simple as that really.

Huh, fair enough. I assumed tuesday releases were for big games, so it surprised me that DMC was there.
