I'm in shock at how fast Telltale seem to be getting Minecraft: Story Mode out comparatively to all their other series.

I suspect the Microsoft coders have a helping hand? It wouldn't surprise me now with the franchise being firmly in their hands.

I had much the same thought. I assume they got more done before they released the first one.

Zack and Wiki might be the best Wii game I never finished.

I've barely got an hour into it about 6 times but it still looks cool and I will play the thing!!

Pretty happy to see those data packs appear on the european store for Xenoblade considering I pre-ordered it way back in July, looks like a safe bet that I download them sharpish. It's strange knowing I've already heard a fair selection of the music to the game without even opening the package yet.

Didn't notice Bayou Billy last week, that's a guilty pleasure if ever I saw one.

I really want to like Zack and Wiki more than I do but the controls sometimes aren't as responsive as they need to be and coupled with "dying means you have to repeat a lot of puzzles to get to the same point again" means that when the game gets harder and the levels get longer it becomes a bit of a slog. It makes you reluctant to experiment because you don't want to have to redo puzzles.

Lovely art style and presentation though.

Yeah I found the same. Seems right up my street and I usually persist to the death with any old shithouse game, but I gave up on Zack & Wiki about 5 hours and a lot of swearing in. It ended up in my local hospital with a bunch of other Wii games I had for kids to play.

My copy if XCX has been despatched. Data packs are also installed and I watched the Nintendo preview videos to brush up on how the map works. Rarely get a couple of hours spare to game now BUT my wife is out for 3 hours on Saturday night. Happy days! Though its arrival means I may not now complete ALTTPast before the C&R podcast alas.

GTA:SA has snuck out on PS3, bizarre! It seems to have replaced the PS2 Classics version. I've been wanted to replay that for years, but not at twelve quid. Fingers crossed it drops in price some time. Shame it's PS3 because I'd kill for it on Vita.

It seems to be the same as the 360 On Demand version that came out last year. That was a slightly shoddy port of the mobile version, but it only cost £3.

Aww yeah I'm really excited to pick up Xenoblade Chronicles X tomorrow! Unfortunately I'm gonna be busy this weekend so I won't even get to play it until Sunday.

Listening to the music from that game on the latest Sound of Play got me even more excited. I hadn't looked into the soundtrack before and had no idea it was that good.

Im going to add new Path of Exile content patch (2.1 called talismans) that came out yesterday. It adds new loot, new skills, a lot of changes to passive tree.
