Yeah it does look interesting. I was really looking forward to Grow Up finding the first game hugely enjoyable, but the mixed reviews (or at least, the middling reviews) have made me think I'll wait for a sale.

Kind of tempted with Inside though I almost bought it a few times on the Xbox but I can't wait for Steins;Gate 0, it's about a month away from release here I think/hope.

Absolutely bewildered by how many of these games I have zero intel on though, hope some hidden gems are hiding in these lists!

Definitely want Inside for PS4. I've got a tenner of credit sitting in my PSN account so was hoping it'd get a launch week discount, but as it is I'll have to wait till next week, but looking forward to playing it.

I've ordered the boxed copy of Resi 4 off Amazon.com, so it won't get here till September 7th-13th. Resi 4 is worth it though.

I'm keen to see how it looks and plays because ideally, I'll just get it on VC for the Wii U. I think the Wii controls were superb, personally, and I played it back to back to back when I first got it. I had it in Japanese though so I'd happily upgrade to English, especially as my old Wii has conked it.

You can never have too much of a good thing, right?

I'm hoping that when CapCom are done with porting all these Resident Evil games over this current generation of consoles that we'll see a big box of them all together (With the RE2make!!) inside.

Actually now that I think about it...I just want that Resident Evil 2 remake.

This interests me. What sort of game is it? I watched a video and it looked kind of like Soul Sacrifice on the Vita. I loved that game but got almost to the end and stopped playing for a bit and now I can't seem to get back in to it, forgotten all the buttons etc. Soul Sacrifice played kinda like Monster Hunter, albeit nowhere near as deep. Is God Eater like this, ie. you take missions from a hub area and get transported to the mission location for that one mission or is it more of a big open RPG? Definitely interested in it anyway.

Very like Soul Sacrifice on all counts. I believe God Eater was one of the first MH clones, with its gimmick being that it was story-centric with an anime art style.

I only know it from the original PSP release, though. Are these remakes?

The aesthetic was pretty interesting, a lot of apocalyptic imagery and mythology tie ins and resonance.

I'm sorry to say it but Resi 4 is a pretty average game on PS4. In fact, having mostly played the Wii version, this not only doesn't improve on it in any meaningful way, it's inferior in most of the ways that count. The controls and button mapping are so unintuitive. The right stick camera control is so weird and clunky. Boo hoo and all that but yeah, I should have just bought the Wii VC version.

Yeah, pretty much God Eater plays alot like Soul Sacrifice and Monster Hunter. Like Soul Sacrifice, God Eater gets rid of all that Monster Hunter minutiae. No cold drinks, hot drinks, strong man poses, weapon sharpening, etc. It also does not have the variety that MH has. It has a hub, just like MH. But the mission areas are much smaller and the monster variation is much smaller. Unfortunately, it looks like God Eater 2 really has not added much. It is definitely a MH-lite style game, but so is pretty much every other hunting game I have ever played, except for PSO (which in my world, started this hunter game thing).
I actually have not even fired it up yet.
Attack on Titan came out the same day. I had no expectations to actually play it though. I love the anime, but every AoT game I have seen so far looked bad.
This one actually looked fun, so I picked it up. And I love it. It is even more repetitive than most of this musou like games, but I am loving it. There is no real weapon differences and there is only one way to kill a titan, but man is it fun.
