I have seen almost no footage of PUBG but I'll be on that tomorrow night and for the foreseeable.

I know we tend not to have the eShop stuff in here now because it's so relentless but The End Is Nigh comes out tomorrow on Switch. Long awaited!

Õkami is a masterpiece. Play it if you haven't already and if you think there's even the slightest chance it might be up your alley. Might want to plan for strategic breaks in order to avoid burnout, though.

PUBG looks fun and I'd be all over it if it was on PS4. Guess I'll have to wait a few more months.

Currently playing through the PS3 HD version of Okami, though only 7 hours in. There are things I like; there are things I don't like. Much swearing alone at the TV as the game doesn't want to acknowledge some of my brushwork! God-damn fishing...

The first 10 hours of Okami are the worst according to just about everyone who plays it!

Stick with it, it gets awesome!

I played the first ten hours on both ps3 and ps4. :?

Absolutely appalling

Edit: played on Wii and PS3, not sure what I was thinking there.

I'll definitely stick with it. It means I can go back episode 61 and listen to it! I'd be curious to hear how others experiences compare to my own.

Cheers for the release update Leon. Time flies!

Okami is superb but for me, it’s a little too long.

PUBG on XBO seems to be getting favourable coverage so far (no one has actually done a ‘review’ yet). Sounds exactly like you’d expect: it runs at 30fps and looks the equivalent of the ‘medium’ pc settings when on the base XBO, runs closer to the pc higher settings when on the XBO X.

Gameplay wise the main difference is that inventory management is slower due to the controls, but everyone is in the same boat (no cross play) so it’s not as if that gives anyone an advantage.

Basically, if you have the means to play on PC that’s still the better bet, but if you’re like me and don’t own a gaming pc, then it’s a pretty solid conversion.

Yeah I got it on ipad ages back, might pick this up again in a sale though. All reports suggest they've done a great job fitting it on to the smaller screen.

Working my way through Papers, Please on the vita now. Really really good port, just a shame it's so long after the original release. Hopefully it gets noticed by a few people like myself who are ready to play it again.

Civilisation 6 has dropped on iPad without any warning... I’ll probably want to read a few reviews before I go for it though.

Things start to warm up again this week after the post Christmas lull.

Lost Sphear (PS4, Switch) 23rd
The Inpatient (PS VR) 24th
Celeste (PC, PS4, Switch) 25th
The Room: Old Sins (iOS) 25th
Demons Age (PC, PS4, Xbox One) 26th
Dragon Ball FighterZ (PS4, Xbox One) 26th
Axiom Verge (PS4, Switch) 26th
Railway Empire (PC, PS4, Xbox One) 26th
Constructor Plus (Switch) 26th
Monster Hunter World (PC, PS4, Xbox One) 26th
The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth (PS4) 26th
Rocket League (Switch) 26th

With rocket league there I’m assuming that’s a physical release.

Not seen much about the new Room game from Fireproof, but it’s a series I’ve liked every game of so far so I’ll probably just go straight in blind.

Hasn't BoI Afterbirth been out for a while now? Is this a new release?

I assume that’s a complete edition that includes Afterbirth+, which has been available as dlc for a while.
