Re: What's Out This Week?
First time I am regretting not having a Xbox as I loved Forza Horizon 3.
Wonder where the money will go from Telltale Batman then?.

Creditors, lawyers.
Re: What's Out This Week?
Assuming my credit card will let me, I’m getting the Forza Horizon 4 console bundle, it’s time to upgrade to the XBO X for me.
Re: What's Out This Week?
I’ve been banking the free month of Gamepass that you get with the Xbox X until there was something I wanted to try and not buy - if you get me.
Forza Horizon 4 will likely be that.
Don’t think I’ve seen a game look as photo-perfect as FH4.
I’m also getting Mario Party - obviously.

Re: What's Out This Week?
I have enjoyed Horizon series but I’m well up for 4. Didn’t finish 3 but I’ve put a fair bit of time into 1 & 2. Part of me wants to carry on with 3 but it’s not essential.
Gamepass is showing its power now

Re: What's Out This Week?
I really don't love the graphical look of Mega Man 11. It looks very bland to me, but maybe I just haven't seen the right videos?
Re: What's Out This Week?
Getting really tempted by these Assassins Creed reviews. Only finished 2 but it looks and sounds good
Re: What's Out This Week?
I did consider getting an Xbox one x with Forza Horizon 4 this week, but I’ve talked myself out of that until after the XO18 show in November. I’ve decided to get Assassin’s Creed Odyssey instead.
And I’ll likely do preorders on Soul Calibur 6 and Warriors Orochi 4 for the 19th.

Re: What's Out This Week?
AC Odyssey is a proper banger. Best one I've ever played which ain't many but for that kind of "everything that's wrong with gaming" kind of game, it transcends the form and has engrossed me more than any other AAA content dump in a long long time.

4 remasters/ports, a Goosebumps tie in and the annual WWE game.
I don't follow the FPS genre but it looks like CoD is still a big enough deal to scare games away from its release slot.

Re: What's Out This Week?
...They made four Black Ops games when I wasn't looking?! I'm completely out of the loop.
Mark of the Ninja and Luigi's Mansion are great and well worth playing, especially at budget price. I've heard great things about TWEWY as well.

Re: What's Out This Week?
I love TWEWY but I know there are many people who did not get on with it. Its a bit of an odd duck so to speak, especially combat-wise and therefore quite polarising. So if anyone does start it, don't be surprised if it takes a while to get a hang of.
I've played both the DS and mobile versions and felt the move to a single screen weakened the combat. Moving your focus between the main character and companion on the two screens was a big deal in the DS version and tied in with the themes of the game. On the single screen, your companion acts more like an assist character. Some people preferred this of course as it simplified a very busy combat system.
With the Switch version being more like the mobile version and also the extortionate price (€50!) I'll probably pick it up if its really cheap years down the line.

Re: What's Out This Week?
I struggled with TWEWY on the DS, the game needs you to be watching both screens at the same time, manipulating one with stylus and the other with dpad, and I’m too old for that.
I suspect the remaster will be a little tamer in that respect anyway.

Re: What's Out This Week?
I already have Warriors Orochi 4 and Soul Calibur 6 ‘pre-loaded’ on my XBO. (I’m a pad player for soul Calibur, for some reason I can’t play it on stick at all. Same with Mortal Kombat, maybe it’s the ‘button to block’ thing)
Crayons Scoot looks like a Splatoon clone, only with no shooting.

Re: What's Out This Week?
Im very curious about Starlink. From the game itself, the starfox cross over and the toy ships which are on the pad.
