Yeah me too Commandos reminds me of PC gaming so much, it's already out on xbox and thought about it but it would be perfect for Switch.

Going to pick up Twin Mirror I do like being day one for Dontnod games.

Those who are into Commandos, have you looked at Shadow Tactics? A lot of the same dev team, one of my favourite games of the XBO era.

I'll have a look, I noticed last night that Commandos is on sale at just under £10 on ps4.

Cyberpunk all bought and paid for. Please be good because it looks outstanding.

If it scratches the same itch a Deus Ex does then I'm sorted

I’ve been playing the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo for about three years, so looking forward to upgrading to the new demo this week!

Predictably Space Invaders Forever is what I’ll actually buy this week!

Yeah I'm tempted by that, although (predictably) will wait for a sale

The last Space Invaders game I played was on the PSP and I remember it being really decent. Can't remember what it was called now, but it was like a super version, may have been Unlimited or Extreme or something like that.

FAKE EDIT: Yeah, Extreme, as featured on this collection. Just had a look at the collection, seems a shame they've not thrown the original arcade rom on there, too.

I should wait for a sale too. Will probably be in one before I give it a proper go as usual! Apart from the Taito Legends compilations on PS2, Space Invaders as a series has always been under-represented in my collection. I did play Extreme on my cousin’s DS but it never felt right on there to me. Too many screens!

I'm not sure what else is lurking in December other than Binding of Isaac Rebirth DLC.

Anyone got anything?

At the time it was a good side scrolling brawler with a few extra bells and whistles like castle crashers. The soundtrack and the fact it disappeared meant it gained a bit of a cult status.

Not sure what kind of splash it’ll make now.

Be interesting to see how it compares to River City Girls now, which is a more recent take on the Kunio-kun gameplay style.

Scott Pilgrim never clicked with me at all, unfortunately, which I always found odd as I've always really enjoyed the side scrolling brawler.

I know the RPG elements put off some of my friends at the time. My levelled up character made short work of enemies whilst my mates continually died. It felt like castle crashers in that you are supposed to level up to finish it although I’m sure someone like Ben could finish it without!

Yeah, the character progression stuff is the Kunio-kun influence. First time I played through it it took me aaaaages to realise those buffs you were buying in the shops were persistent, so you should keep getting them.

Yeah I bought it back then and wasn't impressed.
