Mad Max should be a good one, I think a lot of people passed on that one because of some lukewarm reviews, but I really enjoyed it.

The Room games will make for an interesting one too, I should probably prod fireproof a bit nearer the time that you're doing it seeing as they're local, pretty sure they'll be chuffed.

All three parts of Witcher ? Well i can die happy now (or at least in a year ;P). Also i love that you decided to make separate episode just for DLCs. They definitely have enough material to fill it :)

Which Flashback are we talking about ? Original ? Or the remake ? Original was one of those games that blew my away when i was a kid.
Same question regarding Call of Duty. I assume its the first one since you guys are always very thorough when it comes to titles (or very thorough in general :P). Or are you planning on going through at least part of the series (like all world war 2 games ?).

Totally agree. Driving is rarely something that excites me, but here when paired with very bleak yet surprisingly varied setting, fun good combat and fairly interesting characters got me a fare share of playtime. It also had best screenshot tool available ;).

There are some exciting things in there.

I'm really looking forward to FFII the most though... Because... that game is not a pleasant experience. I'm surprised you are covering both of them as opposed to leaving it at just FFI.

Also keen and curious about the Vs series show, since I'm not familar with much of the cast being that deep into the fighting game community.

James is very much into the scene but I'm not at all really.
However I have been in love with the games and playing them since they started, so I hope that qualifies me.
Also, we hope to have guests.

Well, if you need people to rave about Tatsunoko vs Capcom, I'm your man. (I can also rave pretty well on MvC3 but that's probably a pretty common state of affairs)

Great line up! I've been hoping for a Flashback episode for years, so dead pleased about that one! Loads to look forward to there - better pull my finger out on Everyone's Gone To The Rapture, about halfway through at the moment :)

If you're thinking who I think you're thinking to guest in that one, then you'll be covered plenty :)

I've spent the last hour making a list (checking it twice :) ) of games to play in 2017 based on C&R volume 6, games I've been meaning to get around to and early 2017 releases. It will be fun to look back on and see how overly ambitious I was.

Even though they are very different games I always imagined VVVVVV and Super Hexagon would be one podcast as they're both short games from Terry Cavanagh.
Although thinking about it now that's not even a good idea as different members of the team would probably want to do each game.

Awesome, but I'm a little annoyed you chose Vesperia, I love the Tales series, and that's the only one I haven't been able to play, because I don't have a 360. Really looking forward to some of the arcade games though, since I'm one of the few lucky enough to still have an actual arcade nearby, I'll get to play alone the way they were meant to be played.

Ok so when you mean "vs series" do you mean all of then? From XCotA until UMvC3?

Something along those lines, yes.

I own about twenty incomplete games in that list and another ten I have finished. Absolutely delighted by the prospect. Looking forward to it, exciting stuff.

So...are you all starting a Mega Man and a Final Fantasy series that would theoretically continue into Volume 7?

By the way, sure that certain games (eg. JRPGs) in the list are tricky to cover given their size, but also noticed you sometimes get guests from the forum on to help make up the numbers.

Should the only thing stopping you from tackling Xenoblade Chronicles / XC X be number of personnel, I'd happily volunteer my services! Scott White from Bit Socket is a huge fan too if you wanted a higher profile guest...

Possibly but not definitely. We'll see if the appetite is there.

Cool! I thought the Zelda franchise was ambitious, but Final Fantasy would be another level altogether! Though it does feel like the series has gotten a bit of a lift from 14. I'll definitely play these ones for the podcast though.

EDIT: Doh, I meant the series got a lift from 15. Maybe I just can't read Roman numerals.
