Monster Hunter: World

Post by JaySevenZero »

Hey folks,

I figured that I may as well kick off a thread for this title as I know there are several of us picking it up when the game is released and will be looking for others to team up with. So those looking for companions to aid their hunts leave your details here!

Okay, I've copied this thread over to the videogame chat forum and moved the responses that were talking specifically about the game itself over to there instead of here.

I'll be picking this up but on Xbox One. (Unless it's an awful port)

One day we'll all enjoy cross platform play. We're closer than ever before

Very surprising to see so many people on my friend list playing this but seeing this thread so quiet. I hope you realise this game was practically made for posting in this thread.

So I'm in a little pickle and didn't realise my hunting party is quiet during the week days and I'm on from 7pm to late most days. Do you have a cane and rinse squad (squads can have up to 50 members)? It skips the complications of friend requests and makes up to 12 able to join up and practically quest all night with ease.

I doubt the crew we made over previous threads are far from the end of the story but I'd love to roll back and join anyone struggling or seeking the 4 player hunts this game was made for.

And hey, it doesn't have to be me. Get posting and you could find your next best friends!

It might be fairly fun solo but ignore those claiming you need to be a master before heading online and don't ever worry about carting, those days will be over before you know it.

Great, looking forward to seeing you on. It always sounds like I'm taking a giant leap when it comes to community threads but be assured I only have the best intentions.

Okay, so a squad can have up to 50 members and you can join up to 8 squads. Unfortunately, I can't invite people to it remotely, so you have to be in the same session as me if you're interested in being in it.

Given that Iceborne is out (and is fantastic) I figured I'd extend an invite out to anyone in the community who's looking to brush up on Monster Hunter, or even pick it up for the first time to buddy up. I'm playing on the PS4 and have thousands of hours of experience in the MH oeuvre, it's time to spread the love!

Looking to bump this thread as I just got the game over Christmas.

Add me on PS4 if you fancy - RinseWashRepeat

I'm a total noob - so don't expect me to lead the way or be very helpful!

Jay and I from the team are avid Monster Hunters and happy to help you out, looking for your PSN ID is proving difficult as there's a few RinseWashRepeats there.

Feel free to add either myself Follow-My-Ruin or Jay Krylon70 any time.
