WarioWare Gold! - Go for Gold

Post by dezm0nd »

Well, it’s a momentous occasion as a new WarioWare game is out and I was hoping to get a few of us to have a hi-score battle across whatever mini/microgame takes our fancy.

Who’s in?

How's everyone getting on with this ??

I've been playing it between doing bits and bobs and having a turn out.

I've finished the story now and moved onto the Arcade bit, doing the first stage which is the horse/dog where you have 4 lives to get as far as you can in each sector, Mash, Twist, Touch, Ultra & Ultra Blind.

I'm now just trying to improve my best score in each of those modes.

Such a fun, silly, well made game  .

Yeah we're into the challenges and mission mode now. I say "we" as once I started playing it in the front room, my Wife and her Dad suddenly got excited about playing it too!

It's such a great pick up and play experience which is guaranteed a laugh everytime. I don't know which mini-game or set of microgames to chase hi scores on so we'll go with the one listed in your post Suits?

Yeah man, sounds good to me.

I also think that that mode has the best variety and overall experience. The others are a bit excessive I think (get as far as you can with one life etc....). Mind, I've not unlocked all the game modes yet.

Plus a quick snap of the camera phone and you have everything there.

Can do.

To be honest, I was just trying to systematically up my score on each section and just happened to have a bit of a lucky run on Ultra  .

I’ve decided to change the rules a bit. One selection of micro games from each section on the main menu will be hi-score attacked!

Story; 5-Volt. My score: 41
Challenge; All Mixed Up (Ultra). My score: 43
Toy Room; Pyoro. My score: 004020

OK, just had a quick bash at this and .......

I've not unlocked Pyoro yet though, it seems the games you pull are random.

I'm contemplating just spam-scanning all my amiibo's to unlock everything.

Oh I didn’t even consider amiibo support for this game!

I’ve managed to get 65 on 5-volt. Well done on 72!

Yeah man, if you go to the toy room, then Misc I'm fairly certain one of the first extras you unlock is Mario's amiibo Sketch. Mario will ask you want you want him to sketch and you'll be promoted to place your amiibo down.

Once it's scanned it'll be priced and you'll be award a bunch of coins that you can spend on the gatcha machine for cool bits and bobs.

Yeah, good effort that 65, it gets proper quick at the end, I was shaking and everything  .

Anyway, yeah, my current top score that I'm unsure I'll beat.

I've been playing the other modes and continuing to unlock all the extra's, I've still not managed to unlock the other Pyoro mode you've placed on yet mind, so I'll continue onward !!!

Yeah man, bring it on, messing about on this is cool.
