I love Klax. On the Amiga. Not the Master System version though.

There are two distinct Mega Drive versions too, fun fact.

They went on about a NES version for it's music on a podcast - Retro Game Squad - but I guess the Master System won't have this. I'm sure each port has it's own merits.

Klax is good, but I can't get my head around why such inferior versions are being chosen. You mentioned that a lot of the group are using Android emulation, hence the lower spec games, but man, my phone can run Gamecube emulation at full speed! I'm pretty sure whatever they're on could at least do Megadrive and SNES!

If the rule is no continues allowed, then no, you wouldn't be allowed to continue on that screen.

The trick for high scoring on this is that you can hold more than one tile on your flipper at once.

You know what? I thought I did at first. Play it for a while and it clicks though. Much more score with vertical and diagonal links. I thought it was pretty good!

I won our Whatsapp group one as well, 2nd place wasn't far behind my score.
