Haha, nice work clip, and yeah, I really like the idea of this but not an option this week, I'm afraid. Generally, I'm up for this.

Aye it could be anything!

Also the picker of the game was me lol - I googled best Megadrive shmups and this came up!

I take full responsibility and accountability for my actions and I will not shy away from the consequences

Do you always tend to pick score attack sort of games or could it be like mario or something next week?
I guess it would have to be something with a score or timed element to it. And yes, I know Super Mario Bros. technically does have a high score, but...

Actually, now I've written that, that would actually be quite an interesting one, with both score and time coming in to play for the final score, plus plenty of tricks to get more points even on world 1-1.

Mr Driller, GameBoy Color, choose 5000ft challenge, winner is greatest depth reached. Score used as a tie breaker if needed

Oof, I've never really 'got' Mr Driller. Had it on both Dreamcast and XBLA, but never managed to find much tactic other than holding down and hammering fire!

Why the GBC version?
The game picker in the group chooses the game, system and parameters. Usually it is a system which is easily playable on Android emulators as most have Nvidia Shield Portable / JXD devices. System must be the same across all players of course, in case there are differences with ports, scoring etc

BTW just a reminder this is just a cross-post of a Whatsapp group I'm involved in, so precisely what is picked there is what you will see here in this thread, I have no control over it unless it's my week :)

Just curious. The DC version RULES (especially the music).

Do it anyway, don't imagine the scoring would be much different even if it can't be 'officially' accepted.

Yeah, I’ll just post my score in here with caveats and don’t expect it to be listed on the ranking boards. Either that or I’ll stay on Truxton for a while, for my own satisfaction.

Can’t accept the game (and the other competitors) washed me like that! 😄
