By a nose, but nowhere near Alex though are we?

Your Portal score is a big un! That's the one that's tempting me, I really like the mini game kinda sub table stuff. Great fun.

Hehe, just seen that! I'm back in bronze again! I've not gone back to that table yet but I will do.

I did squeeze a few more points out of the Portal table, though ;)

I'm going to have a look at Portal later. Had a quick go on it when I bought it, but not learned all the mini games and stuff yet.

It's really good once it starts going crazy and you set off various things at once. Just upped my high score by a fair chunk!

Cheers! Mad thing (or not, seems to often be the case) is that 80% of that score was on the first ball.

Always is, I usually restart if I've not got a good score when I lose the first ball. No idea why that is the case, but I've definitely found it to be true.

I've been doing the challenges on the Portal Table, it's a pretty fun table actually. Just got the 1 ball challenge to do, which is always the hardest.

Tip: doing the challenges is the best way to unlock the upgrades for the normal play.

Cheers, I'll try them out.

My 'tactic' for the Portal table is to use the multiball score upgrade and keep going for Test 4. It gives you a decent period of multiball to shoot for ramps, etc. If you can lock the ball a few times in regular play, it also gives you a MB thing. There's also some mad MB mode I found where the balls look like little mechanical such and such and they just keep coming. Not sure how I triggered that but there's a lot of depth to the table, it seems.

The rewind function is probably the most handy for me when going for the 1 ball challenge, I've found.
