Pinball FX3 (Switch or PS4)

Post by Alex79 »

Hey hey hey, anyone play this game? I'd love to get some high score battles going on. Prefer to play on Switch but I have the PS4 version too, got around ten tables on each version (mainly different tables but a couple the same).

If anyone feels like downloading it and having a play it might be fun. Both versions come with the same free table so you can join in without even paying for any more (but you'll get hooked, and there are frequently tables on sale for half price).

Come at me, I am the pinball wizard!

We'll need to be friends if we are score battling, and my game IDs are:

PS4: Alex79uk
Switch: SW-8257-5116-1420

It's very easy to set up a tournament in this game. I've been doing it every three days for the last few weeks. Just fire up the game (mine are on Switch at the moment) and go to the tournaments tab and scroll down to find it if you're interested. There are only ever between 10-20 live tournaments so it's not hard to find. You can customise them to quite small detail, too. Anyway, if anyone fancies joining in I've set them to public. (if we ever get 3-4 people on the forum who want to play I can set a password so it's just us).

Come on guys, this game really is brilliant!

I know it's a hard sell...

:(

I didn't mention it in my previous post, but the game is 100% free to download, and comes with two free fables. One of which is legit my favourite table - Fish Tales.

And it’s also on Xbox One btw, for those interested.

Is this not the same thing that's on Steam?

It's on phones too, I just listed the formats I own, but people could still join in scores battles on any format, I just don't think tournaments are cross platform.

I might have a go at this! Are the tournaments asynchronous?

Yes. You can set how long they run for, as well as various rules etc. Have a look on Switch, I may well set up a tournament on one of the free tables later. If I do, I'll post it on here.

Cool! I've not got Balls Of Glory, got loads of tables though. I'll post a list in a bit. There's a big sale on at the moment too. Unless it's already finished!

Yeah that’s why I got balls of glory, saw it mentioned somewhere :) mind you portal is only £2 or something and that’s not even on sale. Yeah post a list! Can recommend balls of glory - currently hooked on the family guy table and there are four tables in total. Decent value

Sorry I forgot last night! I'll definitely do it later.

By the way, The Walking Dead table is great, as is Epic Quest.

Apologies for the delay mate, been away for a few days. Here's the list of tables I have on the Switch version of Pinball FX3:

Skyrim
Doom
Fallout
Party Zone
Attack From Mars
The Black Rose
Alien Isolation
Aliens Vs Predator
Aliens
Epic Quest
Excalibur
Wild West Rampage
Castle Storm
Adventure Land
Son Of Zeus
Portal
The Walking Dead
Sorcerer's Lair
Fish Tails

My favorites are TWD, Fish Tails and Epic Quest. But, I know some of the ones above are considered some of the 'best', but I've not really spent much time with most of them. If I buy a pack of 3 I'll tend to play the same one over and over before moving on.

Cheers Alex.

Had a bash at Portal and found some success :)

Think I’ll get TWD soon if you recommend that and join you there, glad it’s based on the first season of the game as that was excellent. Other tables when sales come up but I have plenty to be getting on with. This game is so damn good and far too addictive.

Alex I have the walking dead table now! You have a great score. I will be attacking it.

Portal however, that’s mine as things stand. Bring it!

(Side note, I got my memory card and have downloaded NBA so that’s a possibility at some point I’m excited to give it a go)

I feel like I'm missing out here, I want to get involved! :D

I watched an awesome pinball documentary on Prime Video the other day, Special When Lit. Made me really want to get down to Arcade Club so I'm going to scratch the itch.

Get ready for some big scores, lads. I'm talking four or five figures.

Ha, awesome. I'll take a look in a bit :D

If there are any tables we all have (and there will be at least two) I'll set up a private tourney at some point.
