Might be able to make it, if I'm still alive after running 5km!

...Oh, and if Amazon get the game to me by then. :x

Nintendo have sent me two copies of MK8D, so if anyone wants a cheap sealed copy, give me a shout.

They've charged me twice though, so it's not free unfortunately.

I'll be hosting a private friend lobby instead of a tournament this time round. It should help control the games a bit better but if the room fills up, it will lead to disappointment as the tournament offers an over-flow system.

Friend code is in the original post!

I'll be there as soon as my missus falls asleep. She gets up dead early so should be good to go.

I hope people were happy with my choice of battle modes. I genuinely enjoy Renegade Runners and Shine Thief more than I thought I would!

The new battle mode gives MK8DX a massive new amount of depth as an online game for a group of players in my opinion.

The difference in approach, pace and stress makes it feel like you're playing a different game, not just a different mode.

This might be because of the large group we had but it genuinely felt like an enjoyable party game that everyone played an important role in.

As the night drew on and a few dropped out leaving us with CPU bots the feeling of mayhem dropped, which was a shame but was understandable as we'd been playing for an hour and a half.

I was impressed by the mode and think it plays a big part in the overall package of MK8DX.

Shine Sprite Thief is FLOL  .
