This may well be the coolest thing I have seen done with a 3D printer

This company called Fingerprints will colour 3D print your Live avatar, Minecraft village or Warcraft character so it can sit on your desk

That's cool for sure but I think THIS might just be cooler use of a 3D printer! :D
