Kudos Jay. Finally a place where i can unpack all my stuff. Never really found a forum that i could call home since the GD days. Thanks man, its lookin pretty sweet. Tweeting is handy, short & sweet, but a stable home forum is the best place to air views & discuss topics in depth. I'm sure this forum will grow & grow even surpassing the GD glory days.

Really glad so many of you are happy about the new forum, I know from conversations that Jay has put a lot into it so it's always nice to see someone get that kind of positive feedback.

We are always talking behind the scenes about how to improve Cane and Rinse so yes the forum has come up a number of times but ........................................................ and that's the reason we did it now ;)

That is true, my username was born after deciding to make up a ridiculous user name for forums. I was playing Gears 3 at the time and remember laughing out loud when he appeared with his beard like if you're in a bad place you need to grow a beard. DomsBeard was born ;)

JaySevenZero wrote:That was deliberate. I kinda thought it looked better if everyone's avatars were the same size. What size was it you were trying to install?
Aesthetically I think it really works Jay, maybe we need a sticky post with a link showing people how to change their avatar size?

At the end of the day a forum is just a digital space with folders, threads and posts. Contrary to popular belief the CSN forum wasn't built on the graves of angry spirits like the house in Poltergeist. If y'all had chosen to embrace the place as you have this one then it would have been exactly the same (albeit with an inferior colour scheme). Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy you're all here now and it is nice to have our very own shiny new place, but seldom have I seen a self-fulfilling prophecy come to pass as I did over there. The culture and vibe of a forum is totally down to the people there and what they choose to make of it (unless you believe in the supernatural).
