Volume Two Podcast Schedule

Post by JaySevenZero »

We’ve received a number of requests from those of you who like to ‘play along with the show’ to announce as far in advance as possible which titles we have coming up. What you have here is an attempt to address that. Naturally dates and games are subject to change but we’ve surprisingly managed quite well in that regard during the first seven or so months of our existence.

We would love to read about your thoughts and/or three word reviews for these forthcoming games so we can also include them within our shows.

You can contact us at Cane & Rinse via our EMAIL or FACEBOOK , through our TWITTER or even through the The CANE & RINSE FORUM

Also, one last thing, it’s not imperative that folks wait until the week of the show to air your thoughts on any particular game. We’re more than happy to receive your opinions well in advance of the actual recording date itself.

Anyway, here's a list of the the games and the recording dates for each of our podcasts for Volume Two of the Cane & Rinse Podcast up until the end of September.

I kinda liked it being a surprise. I wish I hadn't peeped at this now! Going to be interesting seeing how you fill two hours with Pacman CE lol.

As we do with all great games, as this is. I know many people, myself included, who ranked this amongst their games of the year last year.

I'm sure it will also feature discussions on other Pac-Man games, histories with it (I know both myself and Leon both grew up in seaside areas with a large Arcade presence) and the developments in the series up until CE DX.

I hope it's an interesting show, I am sure it will be because its a lot difference to many others we have done.

Yep, we've gone with Half-Life as the next series after Metal Gear Solid and there's a real excitement within the team to talk about them!

Not even remotely a problem. 32 year franchise history with hundreds of entries & a deep, complex game.
The show is supposed to be a MAXIMUM of 90 mins anyway. If we ever finish talking about a game after 40 mins or something, that's the length of the show.

But no, people have said the same thing about various other games to me and we've always run at least 90 mins.

I know, genuinely meant that comment rather than as a sarcastic remark. I've been amazed how you guys have managed to get a whole show out of relatively short games in the past and kept it interesting. Always worth a listen.

I'm looking forward to the Half Life 2 podcast as I know I have a very diffrant outlook to that game than most people as I thought the first game was better.

You are far from alone in that opinion. I'm sure this will be reflected in the podcast.

Oooh! I'm looking forward to the discussions on the Half Life games! It's my favorite game series ever, so it'll be interesting to hear the differing opinions on this.

Excuse me! Have you seen any sailors around here? :)

I'd like to add Dishonored to the potential list please.

Going to play some more Binary Domain to hopefully get involved the the episode, from the love its got from some on here I think I need to give it more of a chance.

Is it Shenmue 1 & 2? Just checked up on them and they're 25 hours a piece (luckily I don't have the second one yet), combined with the 40 hours of Okami (and possible 20 hours Okamiden) it looks like a very steep 2 weeks.

Tell me about it! The Shenmue I podcast is a month before the Shenmue II Issue. And we're not covering Okamiden on the Okami show.

Yesss! I meant to post about an update last night but didn't want to sound like a dick. Great line up!

Surprised to see GTAIV in there, are the episodes included?
