Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
So...?
I'm enjoying it so far. Only a couple of hours in and just met with my contact at The Vatican. Just reached the cut scene where he's bopping around to the record I brought him.
So far, so good. I'm enjoying it, and I can't lie, that little musical motif, "dur nu nu nuuur, dur nu nuuur" hits me right in the nostalgias. I love Indiana Jones, it's my 'Star Wars' and always was as a kid.
High hopes for the rest of the game. And that opening sequence was a really nice touch.
Who's playing?

In full agreement with ya Alex, Indy movies were a massive part of my early years, seen Raiders when i was 9 or 10 with my dad who also was a big lover of those first 3 movies. The character holds a special place in my heart since the Indy movies remind me so much of my dad, although my dad wasnt a globe trotting, nazi punching archeologist 10yr old me was still in awe of him.
The music hits me right in the feels as dad passed away in 2019 after fighting Parkinsons disease for 20 years & when that score kicks in my heart melts. So glad this game is good, maybe even great, Indy deserves this.

Just got to the massive setpiece sequence (which was awesome) after the 2 main areas and this game is incredible. I'm loving the level design and writing. I wasn't expecting to be that invested in this game because Uncharted's never really blown me away and I found the Wolfenstein games a little too tough to really enjoy, but this is just firing on all cylinders for me. If it maintains this quality it's gonna be an all timer.

Absolutely bloody adoring it.
It's everything I hoped it would be, but dared to hope they could pull off.
I knew they'd nail the era and aesthetic because of the Wolfenstein games but goddamn how they've mixed comedy, adventure, puzzles, stealth, brawling, exploration, narrative... it's so good.
Veers from one to the other seamlessly.

I'm making slow progress just due to spare time, but managed a good five hour session on it on Saturday. Still in the Vatican! This game is so much more than I was expecting though. I really wasn't expecting it to be a Deus Ex / Dishonored style stealth sim, but it is, and it's great!
