I'd like to suggest 2021 indie game Aeterna Noctis, a fascinating point in the evolution of the Search Action subgenre, that takes the gauntlet thrown by Hollow Knights' White Palace and asks "Yes, but what if this for the entire, ginormous map?"

It's not as bad as it sounds! To an avid 2D platformer fan like myself it was heaven!

Rhaegyr wrote: November 15th, 2022, 9:55 am It's possibly already on there but I'd recommend Signalis, especially considering how many survival horror fans are on the podcast.

Great throwback to early Resident Evil/Silent Hill games with a unique atmosphere and storyline.
Just wanted to second this and maybe move it up in the queue. I finished last night, and....wooo! There are enough interpretation possibilities of the storyline to fill two whole podcasts.

A Cane and Rinse deep dive would be incredible.

There isn't a queue or priority as such, just a big ol' list.

Once a game is on the list it is in consideration with everything else, and whether it gets selected for a show or not comes down to a number of factors, chiefly being interest from the panel.

Unfortunately, multiple noms for the same game don't affect the chances of a podcast being made, due to all the other factors I need to consider before locking in a show.

Apologies if this is disapointing, but I just want to save people wasting their time repeatedly nominating the same games, and also to manage expectations.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply there was an actual queue. Game just blew my mind, and in my excitement I wanted to remind people it existed :)

Obviously I don't want the CnR crew to suffer through something nobody on the show has an interest in. I'm just thankful the show exists; it has carried me through so many workdays these past years.

Having recently completed nine sols I'd love to hear a panel's discussion on it. Hollow Knight meets Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice but you can lower the difficulty when it starts to make you cry.

Hello, long time listener, first time posted.

And how has there not been a Twisted Metal Black episode?

Hello! Thanks for signing up and posting.

In answer to your question, for the same reason as many thousands of other popular and/or interesting games we haven't covered; we can only do 50 shows a year!

Pretty sure the TM series is on the list, but not sure if we have any fans among the crew. Not a series I ever enjoyed myself.
