Yeah, darksiders 2 really shocked me with its quality. It feels like Zelda meets torchlights meets prince of Persia. And somehow, works.Scrustle wrote:I thought LoS might have been mentioned on the SotN episode, but I haven't got around to listening to it yet. I've got kind of backed up on my podcasts because of all the E3 coverage.
And you should play Darksiders 2! It's great. It's not perfect but I think it's still really good fun throughout.

I remember Lylat Wars being popular when I was a youngling, might make a good podcast?
Perhaps the whole StarFox franchise?

It's almost like we haven't been trailing that one for several months...

It's easily my favourite new IP of this past generation. So sad how things turned out for it. Still has so much more potential to be realised.link6616 wrote:

Teehee, it's almost as if people turn off during the outro's.

Aww, always listen to the very end, if you can.
You might miss out on some fun outtakes!

Ah, you guys did mention it.
Always helps to listen to the very end then.
Now any chance of Skyrim getting a podcast from you guys? And if you do, I expect full 100% completion including the DLCs.

No problem!
I'd love to do something on the whole Elder Scrolls series, but it's quite a task!

I completed Oblivion. I liked it. It was good.
But here's the thing, it was a fun casual game for me. Just walk around some hills, down through the occasional tomb. Have a sandwich. Chat to guy staring at you in a creepy way. Close Oblivion gates if you can be bothered because they got old fast.
It never once felt like something truly EPIC. Like it was too stiff somehow, like it seemed to have everything but it was going through the motions.
However, Skyrim is rocking my world and I havent even touched the DLC yet.
Its like a switch was pulled and Bethesda let the awesome back into the game. I utterly love it.
I possibly wouldnt bother with the whole series though. Maybe just start on Morrowind.
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
I'd love to see some episodes on the TES games. But I agree, it's probably best to only focus on the most recent three games. Not many people have played the games before that, and even if they had tackling the whole series would be a herculean task. Delving in to just three games, hell, even just a single one, is a pretty huge undertaking as it is.
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
I'd love to hear the Tombi games discussed, if they ever release the second one on PSN!
Also, the Ace Attorney series would maybe be interesting, and definitely the Zero Escape series (once the last one comes out... next year, hopefully!)

I'm keen, and they're already on the list, but I'm not sure that the rest of the crew will share my enthusiasm.LogicSword wrote:Tombi
I've added this to the franchises list.LogicSword wrote:Ace Attorney

Well, if you get to the point of only needing one guest for that show, I'm willing to talk for about 10 hours on that.ratsoalbion wrote:I'm keen, and they're already on the list, but I'm not sure that the rest of the crew will share my enthusiasm.LogicSword wrote:Tombi

Any of the team expressed an interest in a show on all things Street Fighter?

Yes indeed.
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Especially after Ultra Street Fighter 4 comes out a show on each entry bar the original would be fantastic. Must've put 1000+ hours into this series.

Have you guys ever considered a pokemon game?
