Just to further prove my credentials as someone who should host a podcast about SFII I completed this on Expert difficulty with Ken.
Hardly dropped any credits until I got to M. Bison (Vega) and then spent hundreds of virtual 20 pees over the space of a couple of hours before eventually taking him down with a deliciously satisfying super finish. Turns out he's most vulnerable to jab/strong Dragon Punches, but can easily dizzy and then perfect you within 12 seconds on the timer if you make the wrong opening and he makes the right one!

So it took me over five years but I've finally attained my Burnout license and seen the credits roll. I probably won't get the Elite license any time soon but I've barely touched Big Surf Island yet so that needs rectifying before we record the podcast the week after next.

It's story is dumb. The main character is an unlikeable douchebag. It takes almost no risks at all, one of the most 'by the numbers' games I've played in ages.
Yet I still enjoyed it. Not enough to recommend it, but it has PS+ / Games for Gold written all over it for by the end of the year.

Not really sure what to make of the game still. It's certainly not Nier, that's for sure. I guess it had a pretty unique story with some colourful characters and lots of unexpected turns. Quite a few amusing comedy moments too. But nothing really blew me away. Same with the gameplay. Pretty repetitive and dumb, but not totally without merit. Mindlessly cutting through enemy hoards is quite fun, but it can get tiresome in long stretches. The game isn't particularly long though, but in a way that's a good thing. Doesn't outstay its welcome. Yet it also is very obviously supposed to be played many times over, like other games in the series. The first ending certainly intrigued me to find out what else I've yet to learn. For one thing, there was a character who showed up right in the last few seconds which I really want to find out about.
Murdered:Soul Suspect(PC)-So yeah the game just ended out nowhere it seemed that just when the game was starting to get going someone came and said "Ok folks we ran out money time to wrap it up" and ban the game ended which is really disapointing,there's so many good ideas here but they arent allowed to do anything more complex or interesting with them all of them seem to have suffered cuts,the story is the greatest example it has a certain pacing and then it gets cut 8 hours short.The best thing I can say about this game is that it has soul,it's not just a cynical cash in from people that didnt care this clearly feels like people did care but just werent able or allowed to fullfill their vision,still I'd recommend people to play this but wait for a big discount.

Finally. After all these years, I finally did it! I can hardly believe it. I thought it would never happen. I have to say, if it wasn't for this thread I don't think I would feel as compelled to finish this many games. And if it wasn't for Cane and Rinse as a whole I don't think I would have ever finished Paradise in particular, or had the pleasure of replaying all the Burnout games lately. It's been a real nice trip down memory lane, as well as spurring me to play Takedown properly for the first time too.
