Dyad
I notice with some admiration and jealousy that our own Sean already has the Platinum trophy for this game, yet here in the UK we still await its release.
Re: Dyad
I know it was submitted for CERT over there a few weeks ago. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
I'm excited to see what you guys think. Its undoubtedly one of my favorites of the year, but, it isn't for everyone.

Epileptics, for instance.Sean wrote:...but, it isn't for everyone.
I'm keen to try this, if for no other reason than when watching gameplay videos I find it incredibly difficult to follow what's actually happening. I'll be interested to see how visual feedback fares amongst the fast-moving, intense action.
Re: Dyad
It's almost impossible to describe how that game works, but, you'll understand after the first level.
There's a demo on the US PSN, so, I imagine you guys will get one too. Would highly recommend trying that. If you like what's there, it constantly gets better with each level.
But, if you don't, I imagine it gets worse as it goes, so, yeah.

What's going on at Sony Europe, What with this and The Walking Dead delays there not doing a very good PR job for there service.
Of course I'm sure it's not a simple as it looks from the outside but you would have thought this stuff would have been all worked out by now.
Still I might go and download the demo from my American PSN account just to see what all the fuss is about.

Re: Dyad
I'm willing to cut SEN Europe a little slack for the phenomenal PSN+ freebies we've been getting.

Re: Dyad
Not to mention the list of PSOne titles available on Vita is larger and simpler to understand than in the US. Sony Europe are getting it right in some ways.ratsoalbion wrote:I'm willing to cut SEN Europe a little slack for the phenomenal PSN+ freebies we've been getting.
Re: Dyad
Never even heard of it until I saw this thread, so I Googled it and OMG WANT!
I was a huge fan of both Rez and Space Giraffe and this looks almost like the bastard son of them both. Looking forward to it!

Re: Dyad
Same here. I think if you like Space Giraffe (as I do) this has to be a winner.

Re: Dyad
Yeah the video of it on Play magazine's DVD certainly looked a bit Space Giraffe-y, which is indeed no bad thing. Now if Sony decide to actually release it here sometime this year, we're in business.
Re: Dyad
It's not terribly hard to finish the normal campaign, but, the trophy levels are crazy hard. Even the very first one.

Re: Dyad
Another PSN Store update, another week with no Dyad (in Europe).

It's funny reading the same comments on the Playstation Blog every week ...ratsoalbion wrote:Another PSN Store update, another week with no Dyad (in Europe).
Where's Dyad?
Where's Counter-Strike: GO?
Where's Walking Dead Episode 3?
I don't envy SCEE, they must have an incredibly difficult job getting content ready for every country under their remit. But it does suck cause this game looks rather good.

Re: Dyad
Yeah, it's a good job Playstation Plus gives so many freebies out, to compensate for it.

Can't wait to hear everyone's impressions. The final level is one of my favorite things.

Re: Dyad
If anybody's struggling to find Dyad on the PSN store, it's hidden away in the PS3 demos section. No, I don't know why either.
Downloading now (just the 3 hours to go). Been looking forward to this for MONTHS!
