Agree Mr Suits, and we do always try to create a bit of buzz around the new volume announcement, but as always resources (and marketing expertise) are limited.

We are currently having discussions over on the Slack as how best to tease and announce 2019’s running order...

Cool man, I’m sure whatever will be decided will be the best for everyone involved and what time resources are available.

You’ll all have my support either way.

Genuinely a really exciting time of the year and a Christmas/NY fixture for me now. I do remember last year's vid and I remember the cool moment but it does seem that you need to build things up and drag them out plenty these days to gain much traction or attention. I guess it's the constant avalanche of news and marketing stuff and the half life of social media content, gone before you know it!

I'd also say, like with the Patreon, there's obviously a 'classy' line which this team walks more carefully than most. There's no doubt a temptation to saturate the assorted feeds with gimmicks and memes to court superficial attention and be part of a conversation (and that's genuinely not a pop at Mat Murray who I think is great!) but I think the social media tone and approach reflects the tone of the show. That said, I wish there were an obvious way to reach a bigger audience and retain one's identity.

Anyway, pontificating really but thought it was opportune. All the best with it, team.

Hey guys, don't know if you know, but quite a lot of podcasts are available on Spotify now. Sometimes I'll listen to one on my PS4 whilst playing a game. I wondered what the chance of C&R getting on there was? Of course I can still listen on my phone whilst playing a game, but having the audio come through the PS4 is cool because it just plays over the game audio through my headphones. Anyway, thought I'd ask!

EDIT: I'll just add, I don't often listen to podcasts whilst gaming, but sometimes I do. Like just grinding for souls or XP or whatever, or maybe playing Poker or dominoes in Red Dead etc. Just when you don't actually need to be hearing the game audio properly.

We have looked into Spotify but unfortunately as it stands there are unresolvable technical reasons why we’re not suitable for that particular platform.

Have signatures been disabled, or do I have something funky with my own profile set-up?

They were disabled some time ago due to a potential security flaw in the phpBB code I believe. I was going to ask actually, did that ever get patched and is there any chance of sigs being reinstated?

Nothing as dramatic as the phpBB code being at fault. A few old accounts had/have unsafe signatures, that's it.

Anyone had any trouble logging in to the forum lately? I keep getting signed out and when I try to log back in it says something about an 'invalid response'. It usually lets me log in after 2 or 3 attempts. Just wondered if anyone else was having issues - I got a new phone at the weekend and it's only happened since then which leads me to believe it's probably more likely to be a problem my end.

Bit of a long shot here guys & gals, but have you ever considered a mobile optimised forum layout, as opposed to just the browser version ??
