Nintendo Force

Post by Roy42 »

In the wake of Nintendo Power ceasing production in December, a bunch of Nintendo writers and fans set to work putting together a successor magazine.

Today, the first issue of Nintendo Force is available for purchase.

So.

Anyone buy it yet?

Nah. Don't really buy print magazines at all any more. Retro Gamer I sub to, but that's more specialist I guess, I tend to get all my mainstream gaming news and reviews from sites like this, Joystiq, IGN etc. I can't remember the last time I bought a gaming mag.

Same here, from 1985 to about 2005 I bought between 5 & 15 a month. Now it's just Retro Gamer.

I'm interested in buying at least this first issue; just need the money. It's certainly in an interesting position they've started themselves in.

I just buy Games TM now, my favourite magazine apart from Mean Machines back in the day used to be Arcade which was a fantastic magazine.

Mean Machines was so much better than anything else though. But yeah I say I haven't bought a magazine in years, I do very occasionally (like once or twice a year) and its always GamesTM if I do.
