Saboteur 2 finally comes to Switch this week. If you can wait, I got the original for about 99p fairly soon after release so I guess the same will happen here.

What I actually wanted to mention was Forager - very interesting 2D Zelda meets Harvest Moon meets Minecraft type thing. It’s out on Switch tomorrow, 30 July and possibly PS4 and possibly already out on PC. More info and trailer here: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/forager-switch/

Thanks for that. I’m only on MAC unfortunately so will have to wait for some reviews. I saw it’s £20 on Switch which is not impulse buy for me.

Thanks for the stories too!

Absolutely no chance I’ll do that, but really appreciate the thought!

I'm getting pretty hyped for this.

I've always been really disappointed that the original somehow never made it out of Japan and remained stranded on the region-locked OG Xbox. But the game itself seems like a lot of fun. The dope 6th gen gameplay I live for, hilarious political satire and even a soupçon of Solidus Swag sprinkled on top of it. Really glad Devolver decided to localize this one out of all possible games to pick from.

I'm in. Anyone else? :)

This is reviewing very well and is also out for console(!), so I'm conflicted. It combines a tactical (think XCOM) and strategic (Civ, Endless Legend) layer and may be the only 4X on console which does so, so I'd like to 'support' it.

At the same time, the console version may have issues like lag in menus and difficulty distinguishing units without sitting right in front of the TV (as per the Sixth Axis review, the only console review I've found so far).

Added to that, I've more than halved my gaming spend this year by playing more on PC, and I'm conflicted. I could just go and play loads of other games and wait for this to come down in price.

I'm sure if you have a Switch and you like that type of game, you're playing Fire Emblem, but Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is totally worth a look.

I've been waiting since the Sound of Play episode for the Switch release, not having heard of it before then. Definitely sounds up my alley.

Might pick up Dicey Dungeons later in the year. It's the new one from Terry Cavanagh and looks interesting.

I'd love to replay the whole Walking Dead saga on Switch (having only played seasons one and two, previously) but it doesn't seem like the versions available are the updated ones, and it would cost over £50 for the whole lot!

I don't want to replay it that much.

EDIT: Sorry, that post seems really out of place. It's because seasons two and three are coming to Switch this week, having only had one and four available up to now.

Seems it’s mostly updates for me this week.

Stellaris on console gets the Utopia add on today as it slowly inches it’s way towards parity with the pc build.

Nightwolf joins Mk11 for kombat pass players.

And best of all, Role Queue finally comes to Overwatch ranked games (in beta form anyway). No more games where I’m the only person playing a non-dps hero! Woo!

I showed my mate the two Metal Wolf Chaos trailers earlier today and this turned into the biggest laugh I've had in weeks. That game's humor and presentation style seems like it's completely up my alley and I can't wait to dive headfirst into it as soon as I'm done dodging pink detritus. :P

Hah, Remnant and Hunt releasing on the same day? What a funny coincidence. Those games are not only quite similar, they have an intertwined history too.

Hunt started as a project being made by Crytek USA, AKA Vigil Games, the Darksiders devs after they got bought up by Crytek. It was their project, but it wasn't long until the studio fell apart through mismanagement and issues over pay and such, putting development on ice. So after a while Crytek decided to reboot the project in to what it is now by themselves. I don't think much of the original game is still there, but it still carries over some of the original concept. Meanwhile, one of the two studios that was formed in the wake of Crytek USA falling to pieces, Gunfire Games, went on to create Remnant. It's almost as if they wanted to have their own jab at reviving that project, taking it in a different direction too, while still being a spooky/horror themed co-op shooter.

Remnant is actually set in the same universe as one of their previous games though, Chronos. A VR dungeon crawler thing. I was always a bit disappointed that never came out with a non-VR version. It looked kind of interesting, and like it would be possible to do that.

Super Dodgeball Beats looks...interesting. Will have to see some reviews about that, or watch someone play it.

Sega Ages Puyo Puyo and Sega Ages Space Harrier are insta-buys for me on Thursday this week. Never played the original Puyo Puyo so excited about that. Seeing a trailer for Space Harrier was enough to suck me right back in again... still haven't learnt my lesson after all these years and all these versions!
