Re: Videogame Deals
Yeah, I have it on Epic Games Store from when they gave it away, I literally don't need it. But EVERYTHING is better on Switch, so I'm very tempted
Re: Videogame Deals
I thought Celeste was very good, for what that’s worth .
Re: Videogame Deals
I got it. I immediately felt quite annoyed at myself. This is actually a weird feeling I've never felt when I've bought a game before. I think its because I only got Rocket League a couple of days ago. But it was only a fiver with points, I'd spend more than that on a McDonald's. So why do I feel so bad? Ugh, I don't like this feeling. It's a mixture of guilt and anger.
Stupid thread.

Re: Videogame Deals
I won’t think twice about paying £6.20 a pint in town, then I quibble over games I want when they’re £3.99 !!
Madness ain’t it .

Re: Videogame Deals
It's very weird yeah. I get the same feelings but I'd much rather be cautious than not.
I've been considering okami hd for about a year now but dont want to pay for it and then realise I wont play it properly

Re: Videogame Deals
Yeah that's the thing. My Switch library is growing but I'm not playing the games. I keep thinking, 'it's on the Switch, I'll be able to play it much easier' but it doesn't work like that. I still only have the same amount of times to play games whether it's on Switch or anything else!

Re: Videogame Deals
As an act of solidarity Alex, I’ve just bought it.
(there’s my justification)

Celeste is very good yeah. I'd recommend it for anyone who owns a switch
Re: Videogame Deals
I've moved my extended thoughts on Celeste to a new topic...

Re: Videogame Deals
Played a little Celeste back in January 2019. I had, more than a year before, tried (and failed) to play through SOMA for the podcast, and I guess was still stinging a bit from the reaction I had to the chase sequence in that game. When the first chase sequence happened in Celeste I turned it straight off.
I'm sure this won't be an issue for anyone else, and I only mention it here because I am going to give Celeste another go. (Yes, I just picked it up on Switch. Thanks for the heads up on this deal, hazeredmist!)

Division 2 is £8.25 on Stadia Pro so going to pick it up for that. Assassins Creed Odyssey is £18 also

Re: Videogame Deals
Believe Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey are free on iOS currently but hard to confirm because I already own them. These are the best of premium mobile gaming so definitely pick them up if you haven’t yet.
Re: Videogame Deals
Old Man's Journey is £1.79 on Switch. A nice simple puzzle narrative that's a couple of hours long. (it's on Game Pass too)
Re: Videogame Deals
There's a Square sale on Switch at the moment, too. Not many bargains to be honest, but FF7, 8 and 9 are all under a tenner.
Re: Videogame Deals
For those with kids, Letterland games are free at the moment. They seem like decent apps to teach kids stuff
