Got wood.
It seems it’s per day, but if you log off, close the game, it sometimes lets you get one more piece out of them.

Also, worth noting, if you use an iron axe, after the third hit, the tree fells. Not cool.

So, I’ve spent a while today, planting a forest in a designated area.

Honestly mate, perfect game for laying low. I've barely played AC before but absolutely loving it. I've played...I'll say...ten hours today.

Ah thanks for the tips! This kinda the place to share handy tips like that.

I chopped a tree down by accident but realised/remembered that new bugs appear on tree stumps. Every cloud.

Yeah, I’ve set aside an area now, just for trees and I only use normal axes now to get the best results.

Also, remember to shake dem trees, I got some cracking stuff from them this morning !!!

Had a cool visit from a few peeps this morning, here's me, Stanshall, my pal Jeebers from the TGCS group and Steve Norman is around here somewhere but just missed the shot 😄.

Also loving this game. Doesn't really suit my minimalist style though :D

Struggling slowly to get the 30 iron nuggets for the shop, feel like I'm missing something. Are they just under rocks or are there somewhere else?

You can sometimes get a few if you shoot down a balloon present but 99% will be coming from rocks.

If you've exhausted all the rocks accessible to you on your island, you can use Nook Miles to fly to RNG islands and look for more. Also, imagine not entirely sure how it works but you can technically get eight rocks from each large rock. I think it depends on maybe RNG but also time and whether or not you bounce off. If you dig holes behind you and to the sides, won't bounce off as much. Hard to describe but I've had a some success with that.

Yes, this.

I realised last night, that for 2000 Nook miles you can travel to a different island and literally take EVERYTHING.

Not really in keeping with the style but hey, that's why it's there.

I managed to collect 22 iron ingots in about 2 trips.

I was the same, I never knew how I'd collect enough iron but managed it in under an hour easy, had some to spare in the end too.

Just played a little bit and popped over to Le Isle de Suits.

Mine is like a scout camp gone wrong where as Nick has designed some sort of Upper Class Holiday Paradise. Even the flowers are perfectly lined up.

It’s given me a few idea of my own and I want that Museum now. The music that plays when you are wandering around is so therapeutic.

The trick is that you need to think you've got one over on him.

You're basically selling all of the islands stuff back to him. Hes an idiot, not a megalomaniac

Just set the plot for the 3 houses and got all the interior and exterior stuff for each one but the Nookmeister still says it isn't ready?. Presuming it'll sort itself overnight.
