One of my starters left my island to further explore the other islands.

The next day she showed up at Dez's island and now resides there !!!

She even said she came from my island when she showed up at his !!!

Also I'm running 209 this morning again, so if anyone fancies it let me know.

My store is closed tomorrow for expansion, so I'll lose a full days trade :( .

Opened up my gates to friends and it was busy

Opened up on Twitter via code and it was bedlam

Dont believe in the turnip exchange site and did it mostly to stick the knife in mat Murray's selfish heart

You know the nature say guy, Leif (?), he showed up in my village on Thursday and I spotted him but wanted to run to the shop before it shut at soon as I logged on, and when I got back to the plaza just after ten he'd gone. And then he didn't show up yesterday, and hasn't shown up today either. Is he supposed to come every day? I'm worried I've missed him because I ignored him on the first day.

Is he for nature day?

I assumed he might be every Thursday. He sells flowers (maybe shrubs too, I bought shrubs off someone recently) and buys weeds at 20 rather than 10.

Ooh OK, I just saw him on Thursday which was the day of the update and he'd been in the update video so thought he was especially for nature day!

Yeah, he’ll come once a week I suspect, much like the other visiting traders etc..

Ha, interesting how much my thoughts about the game have changed since the CaR episode all those years ago...

Alex79uk wrote: March 20th, 2013, 10:07 pm I heard about Animal Crossing a few months after it was released on the Gamecube. I don't remember the details regarding why, but I seem to remember it being ever so difficult to get hold of a copy, and I ended up importing an Australian one from eBay. Much like Del, the main memory I have of the game is one of complete aimlessness. I played it religiously every day for a couple of months after purchase. It must have been winter, and my land was always covered in snow. I don't think I played until Spring, that much I do remember! I remember Tom Nook's shop, and checking it every day for new items. I remember helping the villagers with their little tasks for rewards for my own home. I think the main reason I played the game was to try to unlock the NES games. I only ever got as far as Tennis and Balloon Fight. It's a shame that Nintendo didn't keep up this with later versions of the game, they were great unlockables. Eventually I just kind of gave up on the game. There seemed little reason to keep playing, and I guess I just got bored. I did later purchase the DS version, but only played that for a short time before selling it on. I don't think it's a series I'll ever return to as I just didn't get much enjoyment out of it, but I'll be listening with interest to see what other people got out of it. My one overriding memory? If I'm honest - boredom. I think it's one of the most pointless games I've ever played. It reminded me of Harvest Moon, but with even less to do.

I splashed quarter of a mill on turnips at 97. Its the first time I've bought any. Slightly concerned that any time I've checked turnip prices on my island up till today they've been anything between 55 and 87 and no higher, but fingers crossed!

Turnips at 96 here, which seemed like good enough, so I spent 600k on neeps.

Nook's Cranny also closed for me tomorrow, so my neep price forecasting is going to be a little hampered this week. Glad it's shutting thought; felt like a long time coming!

Really excited about this week! After the Gargette Turnip Bonanza on Friday I’m much more flush than I should be.

Gambling all my winnings from Friday on 300k in turnips this morning. There’s almost no floor space in my house!

I’m not asking for much but 250-300 a turnip would be welcomed as I can’t expect Dez to be the Turnip King every week!
